First Michelin restaurant for me, admittedly, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. But wow. I did the entree+plate+desert+wine for €25 and added the cheese plate. Best mushroom soup I've ever had, that pork skin gratin on top was 🔥. Pork tenderloin so tender and juicy I cut it with my fork. Amazing sweet-savory olive jam paired with several excellent cheeses. Simple but well made bread. And that molten chocolate cake with ice cream and strawberry foam...the food was amazing and made me sad that it'll be hard to replicate without the Provencal local ingredients. The service was pristine. I was not dressed up, but they made me feel completely welcome, explained the different courses, and checked on me regularly. I want to come back for the larger menu next time!

10/10We took the 4 course Menu Ispiration meal with the chefs suggestion. All the portions were excellent, and the Pinot Noire wine was superb.

10/10The food here was exquisite. It was well prepared, interesting flavors and combinations and just the right portions. The chef has a real gift. We each had the three course option- soup, entre and dessert but there were several other small surprises with the soup course and of course wonderful bread. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this little gem!

10/10This is a fabulous restaurant. In fact, at the least it should be a Michelin Bib Gourmand. The food is outstanding. It's creative, well executed, delicious. The service was wonderful. Ambiance perfect. We passed the restaurant one day while walking and decided to give it a try. We will return, because it's that good.

7.5/10I would prefer to have more choice in a restaurant besides meat or fish, I did not notice this was the case reading reviews. Also it seemed that the meals were made in advance, while I was eating the appetizer I noice there was a tray with about 6 what looked liked ceramics eggs, then I received one as my dinner!

10/10The food was some of the best we have had this year. A set menu, where you choose how many courses you want. Some really interesting combinations eg smoked pear and miso infused white bean sauce as a starter, a caramel glazed cherry tomato. All excellent and the two waiters working their socks off amongst local and foreign diners in French or English as needed.

10/10Exquisite, fresh, delicate, flavorful. Impeccable, knowledgeable service. Suggested wine pairings right-on. This is a little gem, close to the Place de L’Horloge, yet miles away with the serenity of its setting. The young chef is a Maestro, modest in his approach, respectful of his local sources, and passionate in his dedication to precise excellence. So often cuisine as focused as this is precious, pretentious. Not here. This is flavors you dream of brought to everyday life. Not to be missed.

8/10Overall, the food is inventive and the restaurant has its place in the Michelin guide. It is not necessarily very “gourmand” and the portions are far too small, even when you go for 4-5 courses. Festival time, so far too busy people being demanding versus others (Americans…). As a consequence the service was slow and not coordinated well.

We visited during a weekday lunch. The food was excellent - both visually and gastronomically! I can see why this restaurant achieved a Michellin rating. And the prices were reasonable which makes trying a Michellin restaurant less daunting for many of us who do not eat at fine dining restaurants everyday! I think that opening on Mondays (when many other good restaurants are closed) is a good idea. Have already shared this restaurant with my friends and travellers!

I thoroughly enjoyed driving at La Gout du Jour. its my first Michelin recommended dinner and it impressed me with excellent food, professional service in English and unpretentious elegant ambiance. Be sure to reserve though several couples walked in on a Sunday night. My hotel recommended La Gout with great success. There were several amuse bouche that delighted me and the courses were imaginative and delicious. Don’t miss on the double lobster dish! You can order ala carte but the best value is the four or five course menu. I loved this place and certainly would go again.
