Staff lovely and very attentive. Food was really no more than average. It didn't taste 'amazing as one might have expected in such a preceived high-end establishment. Over salty to be honest. The presentation needs seriously addressing - there's minimal and there's ' we don't give a .... ' Ambience ? Eh, no. No doubt, when the designer showed them his / her vision they were gobsmacked but, 3 years later it just looks unimaginative and a bit lacklustre. The black material on the walls is showing stretch marks and the red pvc is beginning to look like . . . . red pvc. All that apart, the prices are not truly in orbit but still ahead of the dining experience that was delivered. Would we go back ? That is always the question: No.

Food is underwhelming. Nothing compared to Caelis and other Romain Fornell restaurants. Disappointing but at least, not expensive.

The starters were my favourite. very tasty and excellent service, the best I have received in Barcelona!

Very good French cuisine, great selection of wine by the glass. I enjoyed my stay in Le Grand Café Rouge, the environment in a modern building with creative interieur, and the wonderful service. Will come back!

Superb food in an ultra chic setting. Attentive, discreet and friendly service. Good wine list too to accompany the flavoursome, elegantly presented courses. Highly recommended.

Food was OK but not WOW! (except for the Crêpe Suzette which was very good My wife's fish was served lukewarm My glass of red red wine was served chilled (I like it at room temperature)

The food was delicious and the service was truly exceptional. The restaurant is also very pretty. If I lived in Barcelona, I would be eating there regularly.

We booked a table for our wedding anniversary and it didn't disappoint. The service and food were excellent and we couldn't fault it. The extra little touch of a candle in the dessert was much appreciated!

Great service. attentive staff. good food and ambience. Probably the only decent restaurant anywhere near the CCIB. Ony problem is they dont open till 1pm. twice, i had to eat street food

Maybe the surrounding and location is not what you expect,but the quality of the food is amazing!. From start to desert ,all is exellent quality ,wine choice 👌 Service is more then good 👍

We ate in an empty restaurant but the service was attentive and the food was excellent. Despite being alone the atmosphere was nice. And food was delicious.
