I booked Le Huit because of the great reviews, for a stylish night out with friends. But infact was highly disappointed. Everything at the Le Huit is cheap. The restaurant is part of a pretty shabby hotel, and it is accessible from an old-looking lobby smelling old and musty. The smell is so strong, that even the restaurant smells musty. The restaurant decoration is tasteless and cheap and the ambiance is that of an office canteen. Staff not up to the task and food really average. Definitely does not deserve the high rating that the Fork is displaying.

The waiter who attended us was incredibly kind and professional! The food was a bit too heavy - the main dish needs some freshness to contrast the heavy meat and beans.

Very nice welcome, and you can choose your table ???????????????? (many restaurants you end up next to the entrance or the kitchen or toilet). The food was great, I did not appreciate the fish sauce, but the starter and the dessert (tatin fruits rouges)was excellent

The place is very nice and the staff is friendly. The menu displayed interesting dishes and the food was beautifully presented on the plates, however, it was lacking taste, so we were disappointed.
