5/10Restaurant with a nice view if you sit on the rooftop - terrace. Thats about as good as it gets... The restaurant belongs to a hotel, the overall impression is somewhat messy, more like a partylocation for a younger crowd that does not care about looks, syle or ambience... Service was very slow and unattentive. Food was just about OK but really not great.

9.5/10Excellent food and service. Probably the best sea view of all Cagnes (from the terrace). Very extensive menu, but the wine list is limited. Could with a bit of decoration. But I will certainly return when in Cagnes.

7.5/10Outside terrace is next to the busy road, so you smell gasoline. Rooftop terrace has hardly shadow. As eating outside for us was a must, it was a disappointment. Restaurant has a free parking of the hotel, that's a plus. Food was ok, not excellent. Service was good.

10/10We had dinner with friends. Wonderful atmosphere with sea view. The menu is not very large, but it is enough not to choose for a very long time. I chose grilled octopus with vegetables and it was incredibly delicious! I will definitely come back!

4/10It was nothing like the photographs, the only lady working there was pleasant and helpful. But the room inside was far too cold with the air conditioning on full, which could not be adjusted. And because there was only one staff, we could not sit outside. The photographs on the website look very good, but the reality is different.

10/10Excellent meal at Le Jardin Gourmand. We ate on the roof top terrace with beautiful views over the sea. Our dishes were delicious. My husband appreciated the fresh St Pierre fish dish recommended by our super friendly waitress, Sylvie. Excellent service, tasty food and beautiful views. Just perfect.

8.5/10I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The hotel changed hands and opened this restaurant on the seafront. On a cold February night it was nice to find this warm comfortable modern interior. The menu offered opions for meat, fish and vegetarian eaters. We were both very impressed by our starters. Tartare de daurade and tartare de saumon. Both very fresh and tasty. The burger with advocado that followed, my partner assured me, was very good. I had the calamars a la plancha, which was a bit overdone. The calamars were a little chewy and the veg had some charred bits. It was tasty but I wouldn't get it again. We shared a coffee gourmand of which the creme brulee was excellent. Decent wine list but pricey! I would recomment for this restaurant to get some cheaper options. The starting price for a bottle was I think was 43 Euro. service was good so I would go again.

9.5/10Delightful Garden on the sea, even if adiacente to the main street. Food was simply amazing both in presentation and in taste. Service is friendly and fast. It was perfect for our Sunday lunch.

2.5/10SLOW service despite almost empty restaurant and a hungry kid with us. Octopus stew that was overly salty and tasted more like a weird meat stew. Never have had such dry bread with a meal. Tired dark interior with stained chairs. Waitresses knew some English but stubbornly spoke French (that we do not know) to us. They did not know that we could pay by TheFork app and refused to take it as a payment despite advertising it on the App.

Merci pour votre retour. En france les restaurants sont effectivement vides le samedi soir à 19h. Ce jour la nous étions complet comme tous les samedis soir à partir de 20h!!!!!. Enfin le ragout était du poulpe mariné .... Je ne peux que m'apercevoir que vous n'êtes pas un fin gastronome...

4/10While it was certainly a busy night, there's no excuse for a menu that doesn't list the full ingredients used In a given dish, as much as there's no excuse for a management that left a young waitress alone in managing a full house. The bill still contained a dish we refused due to the "hidden" ingredients mentioned above. When we confronted the manager about it, he looked incredibly scorned and only then rather then removing the plate from the total bill he removed 9 euros, equivalent to 2 half liter bottles of plastic water (!) Other than the bill we arrived at 9 pm, we got the starters at 10pm and the main dish at 11pm. But this again was probably due to a very busy night. We were left half an hour waiting for water. Never again.

2.5/10The waiters were nice but everything else was extremely disappointing, the meat was alright but not tasteful and the Gambas with rice were unfortunately without any flavour at all, after returning it they brought it back and it tasted as if they had simply added some spicy sauce. The only vegan option had burrata. In the end, they wanted us to pay 18€ for the Gambas that we sent back and the owner yelled at us and threatened to call the police. Felt sorry for the staff there, but absolutely not recommended!

6.5/10There was only one server who seemed overwhelmed. It was slow and inattentive service, but that could have been because of the lack of staff coverage. The ceviche was severely under seasoned but on the other hand. the beignets were divine.

4.5/10We are there the previous Tuesday and loved every minute of it. We enjoyed it so much we rebooked it. It was like going to a completely different restaurant. Service was dreadful, food was ok but not as good as the previous time. Such a disappointment as we had spent all day looking forward to our meal there. To be fair they were busy but that was no excuse for such bad service. Our waiter practically threw our food on the table and didn’t even bother to ask if we wanted dessert or coffee. Hopefully this evening was a one off but we wouldn’t risk going there again.

3.5/10The Service of the staff was great although they were short staffed and busy, so it was slow and we waited a long time for our food. Very nice restaurant, but they need a new Chef, The risotto wasn't cooked and was served still partially raw. The fillet steak I ordered was supposed to be cooked well done, and it was rare when I cut it open, the dessert was nothing like it looked like on the app (lemon meringue pie), it wasn't fresh, something probably bought pre-made from Metro. We ordered coffee with our dessert which also never arrived. We were very disappointed!

We wanted to give to Cagnes sur mer a place where you can feel welcome to come with familly, friends or partner and eat a delicious meal prepared by some really good chefs. Unfortunately we have some opening time table to respect. Our closing time on this day was 2.30pm. You ve ben arriving too late to have a possibility to lunch at Le Jardin Gourmand. You didnt even try to contact us and say : sorry, we are late etc... At this time, as a Restaurant manager i could have done something for you. We will be extremely happy to receive you in a futur and show you how good taste our food and service. You will see we are not deserving this fake notation. 9/10Very good food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And it feels like they would need extra staff to cope with the crowd there was that day. The atmosphere is ok but they should do a bit of interior design to make it “warmer”… It feels a bit like a canteen…
