I booked 50 minutes before going to the restaurant. When we arrived there, we were told that they do not check the online reservation system, despite me receiving a confirmation email, and we were not served. This is both bad for the restaurant and the online reservation system by fork.

The food was abundant and excellent. We took enough home for dinner later that night! My husband had the baked cod and I the traditional chicken in puffy pastry. Had to be a half of a chicken, mostly white meat, veggies, salad and a bowl of fries!! A must while in Bruge. Reservations suggested

We visit this place regularly. Extremely relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Fodd quality is top, and the drinks are a nice variety. Will come again!

The food was excellent. The menu card is in France and Netherlands. But: The waitress refused to speak any other language as France. Not one of the other two official languages in Belgium (Netherlands or German) nor English.

We absolutely love this restaurant. We discovered Le Lion Belge when we recently moved excellent to Brussels. It within walking distance from our hotel. food, great service. It had become our favorite place to go and we will continue to visit this restaurant whenever we find our house no matter where in the city we live.
