Memorable experience. Every aspect of food from taste to presentation excellent. Waitress (Anaelle) was delightful! (So refreshing to have someone who is neither superficial or superior.) Certainly a restaurant we can recommend.

Lovely discreet terrace/courtyard setting behind the hotel. Very friendly waiting staff. Excellent food. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I had a three-course dinner at the restaurant attached to one of the hotels. The atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant was okay. I was staying at another hotel and booked this restaurant online. The Garçons were well dressed, but the food and service were very average. Don't expect delicate French cuisine. However, I guess it's understandable for this price in Switzerland.

The pork chop I had was excellent. Very moist and flavorful. Well done! Other items were just okay. The atmosphere was out of date. This restaurant looks like it was probably fancy in 1991, but now it does not. The servers were friendly and very helpful, especially the gentleman in the tuxedo, who seemed to be in charge.

Hidden under the trees , that was amazing in such a heatwave. Food was good, the service was a bit slow, but friendly - just too scattered, with only 4 ppl serving large area with constant varied requests.

The service was ok. The food was ok. The presentation could have been better. The plates were just left sitting and at one point the matire d asked if we done and we said yes and he walked away not clearing anything. Then when we were leaving the same maitre d was we need to get out of the way so he could hang up someone else’s coats. Why couldn’t you not wait one minute, when no one offered to hang our jackets? We are the guests?

The food was excellent! My husband had fish and I had lamb. I think we would have enjoyed anything on their menu. The flavors and texture satisfied our senses. We had Soufflé Glacé au Grand Marnier for dessert and it was heavenly. Highly recommended!

I had quite high expectations for this restaurant but for me the food was underwhelming, especially for the price. The attentive service and the lovely crème brûlée (that we got for desert) evened out our experience somewhat. For the ambiance: The dining room looks really charming, but I would have preferred more ambient music like smooth jazz (the pop music did not really fit the atmosphere). Maybe we were unlucky with our main courses (perch & pasta), but I’m glad for the Fork’s 30% discount.

The service is fabulously excellent, from reservation to the bill the employees were very client’s oriented. Will come back just because of the quality of the people. Food was good and tasty. Dessert’s menu is too healthy for my taste. Would not hurt to have a cake, pie or something chewy, everything was “mousse”. Will definitely come back

This restaurant is an institution in Lausanne boasting some of the most professional waiters and excellent unpretentious food. We have been coming here for at least a decade and it always delivers. I like the atmosphere with a fire place and plenty of privacy.

It was a good dining experience. Service was good, attentive, and fast. The taste and presentation were good. With the promotion, it was perfect and worth every cents in Switzerland.

We went to Le Mirabeau for a business dinner. Our tables were in an area allowing us to speak without disturbing others and also keeping it quiet for us. Service was prompt and efficient. Overall the food was very good and we received- a couple of nice vegetarian/vegan options for one of our guests were much appreciated. One guest had a disappointing experience with his main: he was expecting a bavette and definitely got something else - they offered later on to make something else for him, which he declined. I can confirm from other guests the bavette was indeed very nice. All other starters and mains were well prepared and well received. The wine list is good as well. I would definitely consider dining there again when next in Lausanne.
