10/10A fantastic dining experience! The food was beautifully presented and full of flavour, with fresh ingredients and great attention to detail. The service was warm and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. A wonderful spot that we’ll definitely return to - highly recommended!

10/10Wonderful setting, beautiful food and presentation, professional friendly staff and they even drove us back to our hotel as one of our party had a broken leg in plaster, highly recommend Le Montagnard.

10/10Great customer service as the staff kindly accommodated our late arrival because of unforeseen circumstance and there was no pressure to leave. The ambience was relaxed whilst attentive and the food was delicious. An excellent evening was had by all. Thank you.

6/10Starters were not tasty, the fondue was Ok, dish of the day was some meat full of nerves with a ton of polenta smashed, no souce... Yachkkk. 45€ for that is really a joke

Dear Maria Montoya, Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the starters didn’t meet your expectations. To clarify, the dish of the day was a rolled beef stuffed with chestnuts and seasonal mushrooms, served with creamy polenta and a foie gras sauce. It certainly wasn’t “some meat,” but we respect your opinion if it wasn’t to your taste. We always strive to deliver high-quality dishes, and we regret that this one didn’t meet your standards.

10/10We loved this place. Lucy, the owner, has done an incredible job. The food is locally sourced, fresh and the flavors are out of this world. The hospitality is unlike anything we’ve experienced in America including sun hats for when the sun is beating down and blankets for when it’s cold. There are Incredible views of the Alps and surrounding town of St Martin de Belleville; comfortable seating; live music. We went back again during our trip. Highly recommend!

10/10A fabulous mountain restaurant with the perfect menu for our group of all ages! Relaxed but perfect service, from drinks on the terrace to our fabulous meal in the restaurant, everything was amazing 🤩 . We’ll be back for sure.

10/10the food here is above the (lovely) standard mountain fare so makes a nice change from the mountain restaurant routine (you know, tartiflette etc..) - that said the fondue was delicious - charming place too.

10/10We really enjoyed our visit. The food was exceptionally good. Different tastes and textures to experience. Some simple but unctious dishes and other more sophisticated dishes. The wine choices were perfect. The welcome and service staff were absolutely excellent in knowing the menu and explaining the dishes. Highly recommend

10/10It is absolutely the best restaurant experience St Martin de Beleville has to offer. Fantastic food and wine choices, attentive staff. Would have gone again if only we could get a spot there!

3/10We have been many times to this restaurant. This time the service was poor. We had to ask for water 4 times. The burger was tiny and overcooked. The rest of the food was very disappointing compared to normal.

10/10Fabulous makeover! Wow! It’s had a fabulous makeover. We’ve been coming for 20 years. Always loved the rustic food and the atmosphere, it’s become much more scandi style, sophisticated without losing its charm or ambience. No more bloomers and old skis on the ceiling, more furs and chicness. Food less rustic and delicious. Staff super friendly. Great for allergies as everything is cooked from scratch.

10/10Favorite place in the 3 Vallées - have enjoyed every visit this ski season. View from the terrace is very special. This is an authentic welcoming place with real French and Savoyard cooking.

10/10Fantastic, inventive and delicious food. Very friendly service. Beautifully decorated place - loved the hay poking down between the boards of the ceiling! A REALLY good spot for veggies too.

10/10The owner was charming and even let we try some of his special plum spirit. Stunning food, and ambience. Highly recommended from someone who has filmed famous in well know restaurants around the world. Service was also quick, so we could get back out onto the slopes

7.5/10I expected more based on reviews but the fillet beef steaks had a weird taste and were pretty disappointing. Other dish I ordered was average. Dessert was pretty good. Stuff is nice and good ambient.

10/10Wonderfully looked after yet again. Excellent execution on the food but even better service. One of our group felt unwell with a headache and Valentin dropped everything to drive her and her husband back to the chalet. Service above and beyond. Thank you!
