Flavors weren’t quite there. The pasta had more diced artichokes than Penne Pasta and the Greek Salad was wilted. Big disappointment..

I chose this place for the location and the 9.3 rating on The Fork. We were so disappointed. In spite of having a reservation and me speaking French, our server had to be summoned just to give us a carafe of water and to order some wine. She then ignored us for a very long time (it was not very busy) and had to be summoned again to place our food order and asked for a different glass of wine for our meal. We waited for a long time before the food came and it was mediocre at best. I had the lamb tornadoes and one piece was good and the other was almost inedible. My husband had one of the pasta dishes and he said his was mediocre too. We had to ask her colleague for dessert and coffee because she was ignoring us and he was a much better server and brought them quickly. We were in Paris for the French Open and have been in Provence for several weeks and this is the first restaurant where we have not had a good experience. I would rate it a 2.

Highly recommend. Fabulous view of the Palais du Pape as the sun goes down. Enzo our waiter was a lot of fun and the food was delicious.

We had a wonderful meal on the courtyard Square. There was an annual race that was beginning and we had a wonderful view of everything that was going on. Very entertaining. The waiter was friendly and very helpful. Service was great. We had a wonderful experience.

The experience of seeing the factory functioning and tasting the mustard was fantastic. Unfortunately, we were there on a very cold day with a group that was mixed between French-speaking and English-speaking. There was one guide who was tasked with explaining the factory in both languages. Although she was very knowledgeable and interesting, she couldn’t blend the two languages and so she separated the English-speaking and French-speaking folks into two separate groups which left one group waiting while the other group got an explanation. That would’ve been fine other than the chilly wind and cold weather. It also felt divisive rather than creating a cohesive experience for all guests.

The festive menu had not much choices, but then the ones available including a fois gras appetizer and main courses of venison and monkfish were well executed. Desserts were decent as well. The place offers a good spot for lunch especially for people finishing a tour of the Palais du Pape.

The height of ambiance sitting in the sunshine in the courtyard of the Palace of the Pope. The food was delicious and the service was great. I definitely recommend this as an unforgettable experience.

Nice restaurant with outdoor tables in the main square right in front of Palais de Papes. Friendly service with english speaking waiters. The entree with cheeses selection was good, main courses (entrecote and veal) slightly underwhelming, enjoyable dessert options. All in all, good price-quality considering the location.

We had a very nice time in this restaurant. Food was great, fresh and original and waiters were very nice and flexible (agreed for change our table for a better view). We will come back if we pass by Avignon!

It was early July, peak tourist season, and Avignon was packed with people. I made a reservation on Fourchette and we were quickly seated. Service was acceptable -- they were working hard to cover all the tables. It was find. Food was definitely good. Fresh, hand-made, delicious. I don't like eating in tourist impact zones, but I would return here.

The restaurant is recommended in the Michelin guide, but we found it a bit disappointing. Service was not brilliant either.

I this part of the area, this is one of our favorites. It's not as crowded as some of the other bistros, and the food an service have never disapointed us

Very nice reception,very friendly service, nice location - even though we had to sit inside because of the weather. The starter (Foie gras) was good, the main dish (cote de toureau) very disappointing - in the end a bad steak (ordered medium, but came well-done and really overcooked) with a fried tomato. This is not what you would expect at that price level.
