I actually never take the time to write a review but had the feeling I had to for this experience. We found the restaurant nearby our hotel through Google. On the way to the restaurant we passed some very lively bars and restaurants and were a bit taken back by the exterior of this restaurant. However, once inside not only was the interior more than fine, the way we were greeted was very friendly. We are a family of six (including 2 mo baby) and felt very welcome. The kids enjoyed their pizzas and me and my wife had the “6 course starter” which was nice (especially the battered seabass, and as a main we had the “daily catch” - again Seabass which we chose ourselves from a range of fresh fish, in a salt crest. This was absolutely amazing. Brilliantly prepared. When we came to paying the bill, after paying we found out a bottle of wine was not charged. After mentioning this, we went up to the till and were told they appreciated the honesty and the bottle of wine was “on the house”. The thing that struck me was that places around seemed to be fully booked and this restaurant still had some open tables. The way we were treated, I wish them full tables, and if this review can help with that I am happy to leave one.

Very friendly staff! Amazing food! We took the risotto which was amazing! Followed by tagliata di manzo. Very big portions , So unfortunately no more room for dessert. We come back next time we are in Bari.

Disappointed by the lack of flavor, seasoning and the adding of whipped cream and unnatural colored sauces on some dishes. Appetizers were not served for both guests at the same time. Mistake on one pasta dish order so we did not eat together. But they use nice products, the dining room is pretty and the service was nice overall. Hope you can improve

Firstly the restaurant was fresh, clean, delightful decor. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The starters for 2 were abundant and quality ingredients. I had the best tuna ever. Cooked to perfection. Good selection of wine. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

The choice of dishes is enormous. The presentation and tastes are excellent. The service is superb. The price is very reasonable. We will definitely come back to try more dishes.

Great experience at Le Muse e il Mare: attentive service and excellent diner. Congratulations to the young cheffe who was trained in the palaces of the French Riviera before starting a new experience in Bari.
