9.5/10This restaurant was incredibly authentic, I have never experienced anything like it. The food was absolutely delicious from appetizer, to main, to dessert. The restaurant had a very comfortable and welcoming feel, you were served and treated as if you were sitting someone's home. The owner of the restaurant made the experience that much better, for he explains how to eat the food traditionally, serving you the first bite of food with his own hands. Dessert was served with burning incense paired with an excellent cinnamon tea. Overall I loved eating here and would recommend it to anyone.

6/10The food was okay….the owner was very friendly and helpful. But she touched all of the food and tried to feed me out of her hands. It just wasn’t appropriate for a COVID environment. If I lived in Paris, I would probably go again for a casual meal, but it’s not great for an out of town visitor.

8.5/10This restaurant was recommended in the New York Times Top 25 in Paris. So we were surprised when we were the only table at restaurant. Great food, yes we had the chickpea Stew but we also tried Ethiopian beer and a great entree. Eating with your hands but lots of hygiene feature like sanitizer nearby. We loved it

10/10When I booked this restaurant for Christmas Eve, I knew the food would probably be delicious, and it was. But I didn't know how wonderful the people would be and that I would truly have one of the best nights of my life there. The owner treats everyone inside as a friend. Go. You won't regret it.

10/10We had a wonderful time at Le Négus! We were a large group celebrating the birthday of my husband (a surprise for him). They were amazing hosts and incredibly accommodating. The food was flavourful and delicious and we will definitely be going back again soon.

9/10We were very pleasantly surprised by the sympathic host and tasty cuisine! Try the Azifa appetizer and Ye Feseg main dish to discover all of Ethiopia’s flavours.
