7.5/10This is a quaint local restaurant in the country that we happened upon out of the need to find a last minute dinner reservation on a Saturday night. Clearly, very popular as it was full and bustling. The food was prepared nicely, albeit a little unusual. We had the cheese fondue, which was a cheese sauce in a bowl, with sliced ham and served with bread sticks and fresh bread. The cheese was very tasty…just a surprise preparation. We also ordered the beef tenderloin. If you like your steak Blue, then it is beautiful, but too rare for me, and no opportunity to ask for a recook. Ask for medium, and you will get a med-rare cook ( according to North American Standards). The dessert was outstanding…the chocolate desert was locally made and was divine. Make a reservation or you will not get in, especially on a weekend. A great find, but be prepared as they do not speak English. Good value

9.5/10We booked at the last minute having just arrived in the area for the first time, the food was really wonderful, and to drink champagne IN Champagne was better still. The staff were lovely and so professional, and although they didn't speak so much English and us minimal French we managed very well. A FANTATSIC first meal in France, and as good as we had hoped it would be

10/10A little gem! We had a great meal, service was impeccable & food delicious. It’s a bit of a drive from Epernay but totally worth it. Thank you to the wonderful staff!

4/10Very rude waitresses, nobody spoke English and they didn’t applied the fork discount as it was indicated in my reservation. Very unfair and disappointing.

Bonjour, J’ai lu avec une grande attention vos remarques et permettez moi d’y répondre. J’ai pris l’habitude de passer au moment du dessert pour saluer et échanger avec mes clients sur le repas. Je regrette que lors de notre échange, vous ne m’avez pas fait part de votre mécontentent. Malgré votre ressenti personnel sur notre accueil notamment sur la maîtrise peu suffisante de votre langue de notre serveuse, ce sentiment ne doit pas intervenir sur l’ensemble de la prestation, notamment sur la qualité de nos desserts « fait à la minute et maison ». L’ensemble du personnel n’est pas bilingue, c'est pour cela que mes menus et cartes sont traduit en anglais et pour ma part je parle couramment l’anglais . Notre équipe et moi même regrettons que vous n’avez pas fait part de ces remarques, nous aurons alors pu trouver une solution afin de palier ce désagrément que vous avez rencontré, Pour la réduction, il faut à votre arrivé vous présenter en indiquant votre réservation via TheFork En espérant vous recevoir

6.5/10It's fine, not bad, but not really a place for which you would make a detour like we did. The food is on the creative side (with some dishes) and there are some classics too. The service is pleasant.

Madame Merci pour votre avis. Vous avez apprécier le repas " nourriture créative ", le service " le service est agréable " mais vous avez mis une note moyenne. 10/10I must say I was really really surprised as the food was excellent. I took lamb that was exquisite and even the “kir” was almost as good as the ones I took in burugundy. I will totally come back soon

5/10Went there because we had read good reviews. Went for dinner and initially, we were the only people there. The location is lovely and the hosts/waiters are pleasant. but the food was disappointing. The starters good, but the mains and dessert were nothing special. The "poule" tasted that it had been cooked the day before and the pastry for the dessert was basically shop-bought and tasteless. Perhaps the set menus for lunch are the best way to go.

Bonjour, Je suis désolé que le repas ne soit pas à la hauteur de vos exigences ! Sachet tout de même que tout est fait maison de l'entrée au dessert ... Par contre en effet la poule confite a eu une seconde cuisson , car nous devons la confire préalablement avant de la servir. Idem sur le champagne, je vends essentiellement du petit producteur pour faire découvrir notre village veuillez m'excuser ci celui-ci vous a déplu Au plaisir de vous recevoir prochainement

8/10Great little find in a tiny Champagne village. Busy Friday lunch but perfect for us. Very welcoming equipe, good food and excellent champagne!
