Lamb and beef meat was not very good, to many inedible tendons/ no taste. Vegetables overcooked, no taste ! But good champagne. The servicestaff worked hard and good 👍

Not best experience , wouldn’t go back Wife wasn’t given a fork with her main waitron 10 mins then food was cold. Want warm anyway . Asked to change potatoes and want done. Waitress wasn’t very at-tentative

We chose this restaurant because it was only 7 minutes walking distance from our hotel, and reservations could easily be made on thefork. From the moment we walked in, and were warmly greeted by Caroline, we knew we had found the right place . We had a great table in the cave . Our meal was delicious. Caroline was so thoughtful, nice , and very quick with our orders ! I would definitely recommend this restaurant, and would come back .

The meal was nice but nothing special. The beef cheek for example, was slow cooked and tender and served with a small amount of mashed potato and a cube of carrot. The cellar has character but was a little chilly. The service was prompt and attentive.

It looks small on the outside but is a large restaurant great for a group as they gave us a large round table. Food was good although there was very little choice for vegetarians - in fact the only option was a bagel with cucumber which was rather uninspiring. The meat eaters were happy. Highlight of this restaurant is the wine - you just review the cellar and pick the bottle you want which are all labelled with their price and there is a great range of options. Good fun for the wine lovers.

Had a wonderful, slow lunch with a group of friends. Food was very good, great atmosphere even though the cellar is rather damp. Phone signald don’t reach down to the cellar, which is great! Recommend!

The food was pretty good and the servers were nice, however it took an hour to even get someone to open the bottle of champagne we selected and it took probably another hour (without the water we'd asked for) to get our food. The restaurant didn't seem crowded at all so the delay was a bit baffling to us.

Unexpected quality for such a low price! Attentive staff, special surroundings (we ate in the cellars), the quality of the food. The ravioli with truffles was fantastic!

Delicious food at a good price, and a great little trick of a short walk inside to choose your wine with expert guidance. It was incredibly hot inside the restaurant, but we did enjoy the food. Possibly too much use of balsamic on the first two courses, but other than that it was excellent. It’s too hot today to write a long review, but we enjoyed it! Dessert was EXCELLENT.
