The atmosphere is really pleasant — the kind of place where you feel comfortable and want to stay for a while. The service was also a highlight: attentive, friendly, and efficient staff. The food is good and well-prepared, but not exceptional or unforgettable. It’s not the kind of place you leave thinking “I have to come back just for the food,” but everything was tasty. A special mention for the pies — they were really delicious and definitely worth trying! Overall, I really enjoyed the experience. I wouldn’t give it a perfect score since the food isn’t extraordinary, but it’s definitely a place I would recommend, especially for the atmosphere and the service.

+2We headed for lunch after visiting Versailles and found this interesting place nearby. We generally enjoyed our food there, out of everything we ordered only the onion soup was under the expectations and for some reason it was very spicy. Despite that we really enjoyed the visit as the place looks very authentic, with great interior and cozy small tables. On top of that we had a great waiter that took a good care of us.

Unfortunately it was a very negative experience for us. The store did not declare our presence in thefork app. It did not apply the expected discount. When we showed the correct bill, it cursed at us and threatened to call the police. In order to get out of this unpleasant situation, we were forced to pay more than we should have.

Very cute local restaurant with solid French traditional food in non-touristy location. Such an excellent value for the fixed price menus which includes drinks! My daughter freaked out over the excellent chocolate cake. Sooo good.

I made this reservation as I believed I could get 20% off (with La Fourchette booking). The restaurant manager said the discount was applied to the bill, but he only meant to apply it for if we had split the bill equally among myself and the other diners. unfortunately, as we split the bill according to what we ordered, he didn't apply a discount to my order and when I asked about it he said it was meant for the bill to be split equally among 4 people. This is now the 2nd time that I made a reservation only to NOT get the discount (in the previous time, I even had to pay MORE than for what I ordered because he assumed we were splitting). I don't know why he couldn't just apply 20% on my a la carte order - disappointed.

Very attentive staff and clean. Food was OK, the cheese board and bread were very nice, the onion soup was a little heavy on the pepper and the chicken curry was very basic with no extras at all. Good value and friendly service.

Such a friendly lovely guy, fabulous part of Versailles and even if not perfect for gluten free tartines were fabulous and good basic French food, fantastic with the discount!!!

This restaurant was convenient to our stay in Versailles. The food was good. We ate outdoors and it was a nice evening. The locals zipping by on scooters was frequent and loud. The waiter did his best to understand English while we attempted French ????. Price was appropriate. The wine he suggested was a nice choice. We were not disappointed.

Great simple french food. The pies are actually quiches (as Brits know them) but tasty! Only minus is that its next door to a sushi restaurant that does deliveries, so there is a stream of scooters dropping by to collect orders. If you want quiet, sit indoors.
