I'm so grateful friends introduced me to this lovely family restaurant. Their food is exceptional, and the staff's kindness and the restaurant's cozy ambiance make this a hidden gem in Le Marais.

Good food and very nice staff. I was almost in Senegal! Love it

The Farci I ordered was a mashed fish baked inside a red bell pepper surrounded by diced tomato, onion, and a flavorful sauce. The small restaurant in Marais is elegantly decorated with art and memorabilia from Senegal. Soft and inviting African music played in the background. If you are in Paris, please try it!

Having lived in Dakar, we were looking for some good theb and poulet yassa. Theb served on Fridays only, so we enjoyed the yassa and a sweet pepper stuffed with fish/herb mixture. Both were delicious and brought back the flavors of grand Dakar eating. Bissap was perfect: not too sweet, right amount of mint. Small resto with comfortable seating, beautiful colors, and quiet background music. Will come back on a Friday for the theb!

The mafé is very good! Also love their selection of beers from the region.

Le Petit Dakar has great food. It is West African themed. I was in a party of three and we all enjoyed our dishes. The staff were super friendly and helpful with menu selections. As a non speaker of French,, I generally feel awkward and apologetic for my poor communication skills. However the staff at Le Petit Dakar made me feel completely at ease. Overall, I had a perfect meal and a lovely experience. I would definitely recommend it for a quiet and relaxed evening enjoying great food.

They recommended a lovely dish and how that is good. The explanation is correct and sounds very tasty.

Stelllar ambiance, people, food, and my friends loved that I chose this restaurant. A warm and special evening that owes much to the cuisine and staff. Genuine charm in abundance, and an absolutely fantastic and memorable meal.

The food, service and ambiance all were excellent. The mafe and yassa were delicious -very flavorful. We asked for hot chili sauce on the side to make it more traditional Senegalese and the sauce was a lovely spicy. A wonderful find in Paris.

excellent !!

Really great restaurant! Only downside: apparently it was so popular, they ran out of ginger juice. Sound level varies, depending on how full the restaurant is, but remains a nice, relaxing atmosphere (with Senegalese music).
