I have been eating Guangdong/Chinese cuisine for 40+ years and have dim sum every weekend at my hometown. I should be well qualified to comment on the food/dim sum served by this restaurant. Basically, they ARE not typical Guangdong dim sum/Chinese food…I can only say they “look like” Chinese food. It is impossible to put scrambled eggs in prawn rice rolls (and prawn should be used, not shrimps). The restaurant doesn’t even know how to cook a simple dish (in my case, the stir-fried white cabbage). I could understand there may be difficulties to source some ingredients to make some specific Chinese dishes….but I am too shocked by the high grading (over 9 out of 10) given by other foodies. I am afraid I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone if he/she wants to try some real Chinese/Guangdong cuisine.

Food is very good and tasty, service is fast and good suggestions/recommendations by staff. Lovely decoration of the space. The least I liked were the BAO desserts, too dry in my opinion.

This is the second time I go to Le Petit Dim Sum, as always, a complete 10/10 experience. Food was very tasty and the service so polite, kind and fast. Def will come back very soon!
