I was really disappointed about this restaurant. The food was good but service and atmosphere a disaster. Our table was not ready when we arrived. We had to wait a long time and were not able to get hold of the staff to order at least an aperitive. When our table was finally ready nobody came to take our order. We had to ask to do so. Before I was able to place my order with the indeed very pleasant female owner, the waiter came to litterally pull the menu card out of my hands to hand it to another guest at another table. After the meal nobody came to clear the table...could continue the list. Quality of the food was at least good. I travel a lot to different countries and was never treated so rude in a restaurant. There are so many wonderful restaurants with a welcoming atmosphere in Knokke that I definetly won't be back to this one.
