We had a wonderful evening with our family (my wife and me and our 3 kids) in this “no frills” French restaurant. The very friendly owner made it clear what he wanted us to eat from the limited menu. We were happy to go with most of his recommendation (5 onion soup, 3x poulet/frites and 2x steak/frites, 4x crème caramel and 1x mousse au chocolat). If you like to have good quality simple French food and don’t want to be confronted with too many choices, this restaurant is a great choice!

Great owner, food is good for rhe proce pour t the bets is when you discuss about the items on the was and the history over it. This is a gem for the people whit in. This is not only a gegit food experience for the price but a social experience.

The owner does a wonderful job welcoming and serving his patrons. He makes everyone feel comfortable. The food is great, and the prices are very reasonable. The restaurant is small, so it's a good idea to make reservations as the restaurant is very popular. If you want great food in a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go.

lackadaisical attitude of staff. Ordered coq au vin , they brought out a roasted chicken leg and french fries, when we questioned them they said they were out of coq au Vin. We complained to them, they took the order back and replaced it with what we originally ordered afterward. The food was good but the process was confusing.

The service was amazing!! The staff were friendly but gave you space when you wanted it. When they found out we were celebrating a birthday they even gave us some free drinks! I would definitely recommend if you need somewhere for an early dinner.

This restarting was a great find! The food and service were out of this world. This is a MUST for no fuss authentic French cuisine. We will be back.

The appetizers, onion soup and snails were good, all homemade, no frozen food. The main dish I ordered, coq au vin and bœuf bourguignon were average, not exceptional. The homemade french fried was excellent. A little bit expensive if you order à la carte, but the 3 courses menu is a good deal. The top not is the owner, very nice, welcoming and friendly.

Quality, home made, tasty and the service is attentive and prompt. I would recommend it for a family lunch, for example. We'll surely go back again.

A Little Restaurant with old furniture but with a nice guy serving...price Level is okay especially in Paris but the meal is also just okay.

Upon arriving at the restaurant the waiter offered us a free jug of the house wine. The service and food were both excellent. Definitely worth a visit and very affordable with three courses for €15. Portion sizes were also decent considering the prices. We were very impressed and would go back in a heartbeat

Very nice owner. Treated us very well. His wife does a very tasty family cooking. The vegetable soup is excellent..

The place was quite empty but the waiter totally made our evening, starting from recommending dishes, giving a discount to bottle of wine and giving free shots at the end of the dinner. We had amazing time and we will come back again, the waiter is so fun and kind :)
