10/10The three of us really enjoyed our experience at Le Petit Vatel. The service was outstanding. The restaurant itself is an intimate setting with only a few tables. We had some nice recommendations and a lovely wine with our meal. The dishes were fresh and made with care. Everything was homemade and you can tell in the flavors of the food. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Paris, and would come back next time I am visiting!

10/10Great tiny restaurant super authentic next to Saint Sulpice with delicious homemade food and the owner is always making sure his customers leave his place happy. Would definitely recommend.

10/10The restaurant is cozy. We appreciated the server explaining the menu and offering suggestions. The food itself was delicious. We had the skate wing and pork roast. For dessert, the chocolate fondant was rich, buttery, and oh, so chocolatey.

5.5/10A tiny restaurant with an ebullient proprietress . The food as ok , very good boudin noir. I reserved for 9:00 and although I was a few minutes late, there was no table for me . I waited with little standing room and was seated and had my order taken at 10.01 . I appreciate it is a very small room but shouldn’t accept The Fork reservations if it can’t manage .

6.5/10I WISH it were better. Wanted it to be so. The steak was TOUGH and neither of us could eat it. Not to be rude we did not comment but the service was lovely. The wine was good as was the coffee and the chocolate fondant dessert!!! Unfortunately I would not return and the reviews I read were so good but to me not evident.

7.5/10We were a bit surprised at the "petit-ness" of the restaurant but decided that it was like sitting in a family dining room but without knowing the person next to you. The tables were literally next to each other. The server greeted us warmly and explained the menu very well. My husband's meal was perfect. My pork dish was delicious but about 50% fat and unedible except for the veggies. The 2 desserts we had were wonderful. The prices were very reasonable.

10/10추천 받아서 먹은 메뉴 전부 다 넘 맛있었어요! 원래 프랑스 음식 안 좋아하는데 여기는 많이 안 짜고 맛있더라구요. 현지인들 많이 오는 것 같고 가게는 작지만 음식은 맛있어서 기회 되면 또 가고 싶어요. 더 포크로 미리 예약해서 갔는데 예약하면서 생일이라고 했더니 케이크도 서비스로 주셨어요. 다시 한 번 더 감사했습니다❤️ Every menu that recommended was good! Actaully i don't like french but all menu was tasty here. It's seem like many locals come here and the resturant is small but the menu was excellent, so i also wanna come again next time. I made reservation in the fork app and when i made reservation i said it was my bday. And they gave me a brownie as a service. Merci again!

10/10This was so good! It was recommended by a friend who lived in an apartment above it in 1973. It’s been there for a long, long time. Intimate dining, fabulous food. If you can get a seat, bon appetit!!

10/10We did not like Le Petit Vatel, we LOVED Le Petit Vatel! This restaurant is amazing. Love the service and love the food. Original French cooking with a diverse menu and very friendly staff. We highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.

9/10We have been several times in the past when visiting Paris but the last time was several years ago. It was extremely encouraging to see that Le Petit Vatel was still flourishing despite the last couple of difficult years. We love the intimacy of the restaurant and have always found the food really good and the staff very welcoming. It is like entering someone's front room where you can enjoy a relaxed family atmosphere. Long may it continue to thrive. The wine was pretty good too!

7.5/10Another very small restaurant, I estimate 16-18 people maximum, but pleasant atmosphere. You are close to your neighbours! We both found the food disappointing, I had salmon en papiotte with a ginger sauce and rice, my wife had ossobuco with rice. The salmon was pleasant enough, but the rice for both our dishes was solid, presented in a dome and you could pick up the whole portion on your fork! What was disappointing given the cost of the mains was as my wife said, she could have cooked both dishes much better than this for much less money. I did have an excellent couple of glasses of Sancerre but as we were underwhelmed by what we had and what we saw of other peoples' desserts we skipped pudding.

10/10Great neighborhood place. Great ratings and charming front of house and chef….all in one will definitely be back. She created all the recipes and takes care of front of house in order to keep in touch. A definite keeper.
