Great food and very smooth service - we were a large group and it all worked very well for us

We have been visiting Portofino with a group after visiting the European Parliament for the last number of years. The food is absolutely fantastic. It is easy to know the food is produced fresh and the ingredients are of very good quality

We have eaten here several times now with groups of students. The food is very good however service can be slow. We are always on a tight schedule and the service leaves us feeling anxious. We also feel like we are being "encouraged" to order more food than we really need - these are 17 year olds on a study trip, not a business lunch. Today our tables were in separate areas of the restaurant which wasnt ideal. This is possibly due to not being able to book the full group online, we had to make two reservations. However I would expect the restaurant manager to see the bookings were the same company and possibly check with us rather than completely separate the group?

Everything was OK, good food, plenty of choice and fast and friendly service. Will come back soon.

This is our second time to eat here as a group and we had a much better experience this time. The food is always great. The service was very good indeed.

Lovely food and charming service, just what we need for a busy day at the end of a cold, gray January . I will definitely come back again

Very slow service, crowded and noisy (probably because of a lunch time), burned pizza

We requested 16 pizzas in advance as time was tight and also the group wanted to share the pizzas.We did not want an individual pizza per person as the students would not require this quantity of food. However the group could not share and the restaurant refused to give them plates to share. We felt forced into ordering additional pizzas and lots of food was left at the end wasted.

The staff was super welcoming and the service was excellent! Close to the European Parliament. We had some lovely pastas, wine and coffee and desserts
