10/10We would rate this restaurant a "5". It was incredible from start to finish! We had the mussels in a sauce that was fantastic. The Chef gave us wine suggestions that were right on target. We had the fish and the pork which were both seasoned to perfection. For dessert, we ordered the 'brioche perdue' with blackberries and whipped cream - fantastic! And not too sweet. We had a cafe creme whcih was the best we have had in the past 3 weeks since coming to France. Check our this restaurant...we were very impressed.

10/10This little restaurant is off the beaten path and a real gem! The food is outstanding. The menu focuses on providing a selection of 3-4 starters, 3-4 main dishes and 3-4 desserts. There is good variety in the choices, and everything we have eaten here in our numerous meals has been deliciously flavorful. The wine list is good, too. Especially nice (and rare) is that the wines are all available by the glass, by the 25cl and 50cl pitcher, and by the bottle, so you have as many choices by the glass as by the bottle. The owner/manager is a one-man show, doing everything himself. His cuisine is definitely worth the walk from the center of Nice or a short trip on tram line 2 to the stop called Carras. Open for lunch Tuesday to Friday and for dinner on Thursday and Friday. Worth making a reservation to get in to this small place (but tables are sufficiently spaced for good conversation to be possible). Try it, you’ll like it.

10/10We go to Le Potiron Gourmet every week when we are in Nice. Last night we both had the leg of lamb. It was amazing!!! We have always enjoyed every meal we have had here. We both highly recommend Le potiron Gourmet if you want incredible French cuisine. And just fyi.. the prices are extremely reasonable.

9.5/10This little restaurant is our go-to place. It is run single-handedly by a great young chef, who also does everything else! His food is excellent, beautifully presented, and so, so tasty. The wine selection is great, and everything can be served by the glass or by the half or full bottle. To top of off, this is great value.

10/10I had such an amazing time!! Laurent the owner was so hospitable and kind! From the outside you may have just kept walking but please don’t! The food quality was impeccable!! Please visit there!

10/10We have dined at The Potiron Gourmet numerous times and have always enjoyed it. The food is fabulous. This time I had the Cod and my husband had the duck. Both were amazing. The atmosphere always has a good feeling of welcoming. The wine selection is good. And the service is always with a smile. And the price for dinner is very reasonable. I (we) highly recommend The Potiron Gourmet.

10/10We just keep going to Le Potiron Gourmet!!! The food is always delicious , the service is perfect, the wine is fabulous and the prices are excellent. It is pristine and quaint. It is so conveniently located on the 2 Tram in Nice at the Carras stop. We highly recommend it.

10/10We always visit Le Potiron Gourmet when in Nice. It’s our favourite restaurant in the area. Interesting menu, great food at reasonable prices. Wine list also sensibly priced.

6.5/10We have not been to the restaurant for a couple of years and not sure if it has changed hands. Not as good as we remember. The food was fair apart from one dish which we had to send back. It was dealt with politely and the replacement was acceptable.
