Extensive tourist trap..food very average

Service was very slow. The meat was not a good quality meat but had nice flavor. The salad was on the same plate and had steak juice all over it which made it inedible.

Food was cold, undercooked and vegetables of unknown origin. Would not recommend this restaurant.

Great location. Nice French typical cuisine. Not as good as I expected it to be (looking at the prices and comparing with other restaurants cheaper and with better overall food taste). They had the reservation and quickly helped us to the table. Seemed understaffed for the number of tables being served.

The service wasn't very attentive. We had to work to get attention from anyone. While it was courteous, it's a small place, and it really shouldn't have been such a challenge. The food wasn't the best, either. Overall, not a great experience.

The waiters were so attentive and quite funny, which was lovely. The food was spectacular and so wholesome. We hope to return one day soon

Unfortunately, my husband & I were pretty underwhelmed with our meal at Le Poulbot. It was our last dinner in Paris & we wanted something traditionally French & cozy. This place felt more like a tourist trap-- high prices, mid-range quality food, mediocre service, & filled with other tourists like us in very close quarters. (We also should've picked up on its location close to the Sacré Couer as a sign). We ordered the beef bourguignon & the pork ribs, and both were pretty salty without depth of flavor. If the prices were a bit more forgiving, I wouldn't have been as disappointed, but it felt like we paid a premium (80+ euros for 2 dishes & 1 glass of wine) for a mid-tier meal. I wouldn't return.

Servers were very pleasant. The food was ok but overpriced. Both the duck and the lamb were very tender and good flavour. The French onion soup was mediocre. The chocolate lava cake with real vanilla ice cream was delicious.

Great service , good food, lovely ambience. We were looked after well by the boss and JP on our second visit. Really recommend this fab little place but do book as it gets busy.

We had a lovely evening in this cosy restaurant. Delicious food, good wine and beer and attentive, friendly service. It is very small, so expect to be close to your neighbours!

My favorite for lunch in Paris. The charcuterie is best on earth. Friendly service, reasonable prices, reservations make it easy.

Wonderful food. It’s my second time there. They recommend beautiful that goes with your dish. Their Crème Brûlée is out of this world! I’ll be going back every time I am in Paris.

Restaurant is under renovation and they are using two tiny rooms for dining rooms with inches between tables. They need to let go of one or two tables and make sure their guests are able to enjoy the meal. Based on the looks and complaints at tables, they aren't doing anyone a favor. One table was basically in the bathroom, another had full line of sight and also had the coats hanging over their heads, no one could cut their food properly. The menu is limited, but the waitress (all on her own) didn't know the allergens. It is a shame, the place highly recommended, but I would not send someone there.

+2Fresh, delicious food, served by a lovely lady. It’s a cosy restaurant, it felt like we were in someone’s living room, which we felt added to the ambience, (some may find the tables too tightly packed in). We really enjoyed our visit, thank you.

It is a quintessential French experience with good food, intimate settings, and artistic ambience. The service was exceptional, with quite happy servers who also invited us for a shot of caramel vodka.

We visited with our family, including our 6-year-old child, and were seated in an extremely cramped area of less than 5 square meters (about 16 square feet), where more than 10 people were crowded around five tables. Our table was right next to the toilet, and the space was so tight that a person sitting next to us had to stand up twice while eating just so someone else could get out from their table. At the very least, this felt unethical and very uncomfortable for guests.

The service, atmosphere, and food: bad. Left out in the rain and cold for 10mins beyond the time of our booking. No acknowledgement from the staff they'd done so. They have limited space but if you're booking a reservation for a certain time, one would expect the restaurant is ready to accommodate you; from what I've read, this is not a unique experience. The atmosphere, ambiance and vibe was that of a conveyer belt, trying to get people in & out as fast as possible. Drinks: The wine glasses had thick rims and there was a poor wine selection. I can't emphasise enough how bad the food was. The french onion soup was pitiful - no cheese in sight, stale bread soaked in a thin flavourless and overly salted broth. The food was undoubtedly microwaved and assembled from mass-produced, frozen ingredients. The duck confit and beef bourgignon were disappointing. Everything was served with flowers - putting a bow on a pile of excrement. Escargot served with cabbage - need I go on? Bad.

Staff friendly and polite. Ordered 2 main dishes, duck and beef. I think they were both pre-cooked. Just heated up a bit before serving them. Taste not so good.

I commend the kitchen for well prepared and delicious food. However, our server was somewhat rude, disengaged and impersonal. Based on this experience we will not return.

I made a reservation over the fork at a Sunday evening. When I went there, I was told that I had to wait 1h to maybe get a table since they were fully booked out.

Súper restaurant lovely ambiance highly recommend. We ordered steak which was lovely (a bit over done so just order as you would at home) wine was lovely too.

Nice quiet spot, 2 seconds from the crowds. Booked in advance, most people turned away who hadn't. Would strongly recommend for thay area.
