7/10The food was correct, nothing special regarding the flavors, like expecting for a Michelin guide, potatos not cooked enough and almost no salt at all. The space is nice but too small and it made us feel quite uncomfortable and also the bathroom quite dirty as well, over all an ok experience but not as expected.

8/10Starters and deserts excellent. Main courses (4 people party) not that great. Been around and know French cuisine quite well. Friendly atmosphere and service. You should try it. Value for money.

10/10Le refuge is a very pretty restaurant. Inside we were greeted warmly by all the staff. We enjoyed all of the dishes offered( we had a set menu for News Years Eve) The staff were very helpful when explaining the wines etc.

6/10We had booked a table in advance and arrived on time, but the restaurant failed to keep our table. When we raised the issue, one of the staff members responded with an unhelpful attitude, which was disappointing. To make matters worse, the menu advertised on The Fork app was not available at the restaurant. The venue itself was very echoey, making it difficult to hold a conversation. While the pumpkin soup was excellent, everything else was quite average.

8/10The food as always was perfect, but today they served my wife EXACTLY THE SAME meal as the kids menu, however double the price! That is not acceptable ... same portion, same seasoning, same sides.. doesn't make sense. Also when the restaurant is full, it's very noisy and loses some charm.

9.5/10Great food as always, amazing beef wellington and probably the best polenta I've ever eaten. The service was friendly and professional. The restaurant was full and thus very loud, but that is expected at this time of the year. I highly recommend this restaurant.

10/10Absolutely incredible! My friends and I were visiting from The States and stumbled upon Le Refuge and decided to try it. The food was more than memorable (still thinking about their French Beef Wellington & french toast dessert), the service was quick and friendly, and the owner stopped by and engaged with us. We took a chance on the magician going around to the different tables, and we were not disappointed. I highly recommend Le Refuge to anyone in the area and if I ever find myself back in France, I will be returning. Thank you all!

9.5/10Stunning location and stunning food! It was obviously very busy because of its reputation so although the service was very good it was not excellent but the food was incredible, especially the deserts, they were mind-blowing! We will definitely return!

9.5/10Excellent food and wine, warm & attentive service. Extensive wine list, especially compared to other restaurants in the area. Loved the location outside of town on the edge of a forest, it added to the intimacy of the experience.

7/10Food is good. Taxi to get there was ridiculous from the main town - 135 euros there and back !!!!!!!!!! Outrageous price. Thankfully 5 of us so we could split the costs but still really bad. The service was too rushed and unfortunately this ruined our meal. The food was very good. We kept being told there is another sitting coming etc.... Not the right attitude.

9/10A distance from Megève, the roads are narrow and slippery. Even the parking was on slippery ice. Nice restaurant, good service and food was good, priced appropriately for quality. Was crowded during lunch service. Good experience

6.5/10Menu du jour was good, soup was amazing, mains was fine, dessert was ok. I was not impressed with the wine we chose - recommended by the waiter, it was not possible to taste it before. it would be interesting to see what dinner looks like.
