This was the least preferred dinner we had in Avignon. We have had some amazing food experiences in Fez, Casablanca and Marrakech and was hoping for a similar experience at this restaurant but were deeply disappointed. The service was inattentive and the food left a lot to be desired. The Tajines were the most disappointing with prawns in some tomato sauce served as a Prawn Tajine, the samosas were dripping oil, the artichoke in the salad was inedible and the lamb chops were overdone. We requested for some olive oil with the bread and were told they didn’t have any!!! A real let down.

Amazing food with huge portions. Quality of ingredients and taste was amazing and price was honest. Highly recommend!

The staff were very friendly and spoke English quite well. The food was delicious, especially the braised meats which were excellent. It gets quite busy after opening, so I highly recommend booking in advance.

After a month of excellent French cooking, I was looking for a place to excite my gustative pappillia. Le Riad delivered. Great food at excellent prices.

Interesting serving of food in pots and pans! The stuff is very friendly, but the waiting time is long. Traditional decoration and Moroccan musi.

The restaurant had a nice decor and ambiance. The food itself was fair. Am a big fan of couscous but the lamb chops were fatty and the meat tough. The couscous was served nicely but had no way of keeping the sauce and vegetables warm so after a while it all was tepid.. Overall was not the best I’ve had and was bit disappointed given reviews I read. Probably should have ordered the lamb kebobs, chicken or sausage instead if the lamb chops.

A cosy restaurant with perfect service. Although most of us were in a Moroccan restaurant for the first time, everyone thought the food was excellent. We enjoyed the evening and can only recommend the restaurant.

I had couscous with sausages. It could easily be served for two. Food was very tasty, attentive service, nice atmosphere.

A very nice authentic restaurant with excellent food. We had tagine with shrimps and a tagine with lamb and vegetables. The shrimps were a little spicy, which i love and the herbs in the lamb with vegetables were also delicious. We would definitely go back!

Really good food and a lovely space - given Covid-19 we felt the staff although stretched performed their best to cater for all the clientele.
