10/10The food was delicious! We had the octopus salad and the Risotto St Jacques, both of which were excellent. The staff was very attentive and very helpful to two Americans who speak little French. (Their English was much better than our French!) They helped the member of our party who does not eat gluten navigate the menu (and there were quite a few menu options for him). A wonderful dining experience and we will definitely return.

3/10I was really disappointed because the restaurant advertise themselves as a fine restaurant when is not, maybe just a 2 star. It looked like a sitting down fast food business. The service was so so since I asked the waiter for sparking water with ice and just brought me the bottle of water making sure to leave it open but without the ice so I could barely drink it, on top of that the glasses they provide for the water looked like from a cheap bar mini shot glasses type. The oil they used to fry the potatoes we ordered with the steak looked and tasted like it had being used to many times already. And they cocktails we ordered were horrible. It really was the first time in my life I felt I couldn’t finish this diner fast enough to leave this restaurant. I eat only in fine 4 to 5 stars restaurant because I’m use to excellent service overall so I felt that this place was a scam in every way with how they advertise themselves to be.

9.5/10This was a great experience with a delicious platter of fresh coquillages. served with friendly aplomb by a great staff and all of it...all of it...despite The Fork emailing me a message while we were on a crowded port bus heading from our cruise ship to Le Roy Rene. Your ¨The Fork¨ email read that you regretted to inform us that Le Roy Rene could not honour our reservation. Well, we said nothing , we walked up to a delightful waiter, asked if they could accommodate us and he escorted us to the best two top on the terrace and we had a spectacular meal. Kudos, huzzahs and thanks to the owners and staff of Le Roy Rene and to the Fork, the polar opposite for upsetting us with an email that almost stopped us from having this terrific experience. Get your act together.

Feels like people booking through special offer from the fork receive different treatment than regular customer. Also the 50% were not applied on dessert when it was clearly mention it’s applicable to the whole menu besides set and drinks. The food was indeed very good and the service would have been appreciated even better if we didn’t encounter these issue

8/10Mixed feelings The view was breath taking beautiful sun set evening and pleasant sea breeze . It was in a mall so we could see same view without the restaurant too. Ambience , seating and arrangement was top notch . Menu was only in French in touristic place they could have had one in English too but good is a savior .and waiters were kind enough to explain. Food is where we were little disappointed. It’s wasn’t bad of course not , it was good food but for the amount which we paid didn’t get the satisfaction . Lobster , ouester , seashell were cooked well but taste was ok . The sauces and bread helped . Shrimps were great ;)the experience of such a big platter was amazing but the taste was okish. Maybe it’s my personal feeling others might appreciate . Try it out for yourselves ..

9/10It was really good, I didn't get to try the sea food but it looked really tasty so next time..and the view is just great. The waiters are particularly nice. The owner also seems to really care about his establishmen, which makes it and even more fine dining place
