Excellent food! The service was nice, welcoming and courteous. The ambience could be more refined and warm; just change the white lightbulbs for warm yellow lights. This brasserie was only 2 blocks from our hotel, so it was easy to get to.

The seating arrangements is quite tight even for Paris standards. We were well received upon arrival, our jackets attended to, usherd to our table and promptly offered the menus. It is nice place to go for lunch or take a taste of their menu offerings , although we only ordered from the a la carte menu.

The waiter was rude, impatient and constantly rushing, running off without listening, not patience at all and the meal was only still eaten because the chef came to help communicate and took our order no problem. The food isn’t the issue the man who greeted us was the problem

We are regular visitors of Paris from New York City. On each visit we make it a point to have dinner at Le Swann. The ambiance is excellent and the food is terrific. A true Paris restaurant dining experience. The pre-fix menu is an excellent price. You receive an entree (appetizer), plat (main course), desert and a half bottle of wine at a reasonable price and nothing disappoints. Roman has often been our waiter. Our command of the French language is not very good but that doesn’t bother Roman. He speaks excellent English and greats us with a smile every time we walk into the door. He answers all questions on menu items and offers suggestions according to our likings. Roman is attentive throughout out the meal and you always feel welcomed. Roman is an excellent waiter and is one of the reasons we keep coming back. Always very satisfied at Le Swann. Le Swann restaurant never disappoints!

Food and service were really great as usual. The food was not only deliciuos but also nicely presented; the waiter so sweet (he noticed that I was so talkative that my dish might have got cold and offered to re-heat it; proposed to bring more ice for the water as soon as I've used up the one on the table). All the team (cook, waiter, cashier) were very nice, they acknowledged the customers.

My guest and I ordered the calamars frits. They were delicious, as well as the dessert. Although the restaurant was crowded, the noise level was fine, we were able to talk and hear each other without problem.

I was disappointed. I went several years ago and remember it being much better. It’s like a factory of a restaurant where they send out dishes without a lot of thought or innovation. My lobster salad did not have much taste. I can say the homemade French fries were nice though. I won’t go back again.

The service was very friendly and classy and I liked the linen tablecloths and napkins as well as the comfortable couch and cushions. The food wasn't the world's best but I liked the French restaurant atmosphere.

We had a very nice dinner, not so big of a menu, but for us it was ok. Prices are a bit high, but with the fork it was half the price. We loved the food and the wine, the only thing was, the starters came in very quickly, just like the next course, for us it felt like a bit hurried, and we wanted to relax and enjoy the food, so we asked for more time between the next courses. Thankfully the waiter slowed down the pace for us, so we could enjoy the rest of the evening.
