Stay away! Be warned, my purse was stolen from my table while dining. I believe the waiter was involved with arranging theft. He spoke to thieves prior, and then insisted I did not come with a purse. The establishment was unhelpful initially in calling police.

We are a reputable company with employees with over 10 years of experience! What's more, you're lying because I was the one who called the police and told you to go to the police station! You reported your disappearance two hours later when you left... if you saw the thief, why not act immediately, but two hours later? It's very serious to falsely accuse us, and I reported this accusation to the police! Shame on you, we're not responsible for your bag! There is no French house more serious than us! Stealing a bag is the best joke! My restaurant is not a brothel but worthy of its professional and serious reputation.

We love Le Symposium! We have dined here a number of times over the last few years. Today the gentleman with the mustache (maybe the owner?) was our server and he is our favorite to see when we visit. He has such a personality! If he sees this, I was the one he took a photo with again. The food is always very good and plentiful, especially for the incredible price. I pretty much order the same thing each time - vegetable soup, Beef Bourguignon and the chocolate dessert (last visit we ordered fruit). My partner likes the escargot, duck and chocolate or fruit. The potatoes with the beef are so good, but the fries I saw today also looked delicious. We usually dine off peak - today we were first at the restaurant, but it got busy! It was nice to see Le Symposium busy and view the various dishes being served. The restaurant is in the Latin Quarter and the menus start at 18 Euro, which is what we order because it has the items we like. Thank you again to the restaurant for a great meal.

Monsieur with the mustache was fantastic! Made sure each of us were happy and served well! Huge portions, great food. Highly recommend!

I found the restaurant while looking for some nice French restaurant. They offer a reasonable menu to enjoy delicious French food. The staffs were also generous. I had an onion soup, grilled salmon and caramel for desert. I liked all of them. The restaurant was filled with local people, which made me more trust the quality of the restaurant.

It is a great restaurant for travelers, located close to the station. It offers reasonably priced menus, friendly staff, and delicious French cuisine.

Lovely waiters, very attentive and kindly taught us how to eat escargot. Amazing crème brûlée and very reasonably priced food.

We were a big group. We were greeted instantly and our reserved tables were ready. The food was delicious. The service very attentive and patient with our limited French. We had a wonderful evening.

We received receipts twice that were different from the amount we ordered. I doubt that they are intentionally doing this to tourists. We've experienced this situation at other restaurants as well. The city of Paris is no longer beautiful. I wouldn't recommend here to anyone else.
Le Symposiumfor your information it was 1 receipt the second was the rectification of the note..but thank you for having remembered only that from our restaurant...during this pleasant 2 hour meal on a beautiful table for 4 people! With a little sympathy and indulgence you should have understood that it was an error on our server..error is human but apparently this word does not exist in your vocabulary. And Paris is and we will be beautiful!!

Wonderful dinner. Ordered from the 3 course prix fixe menu, my husband and I chose different items so we could taste more items. So glad we did! Everything was delicious. Service was great and then night was perfect for sitting outside. Definitely will eat here again when back to Paris.

This was a very touristy place with very average (at best) touristy fare. This is not a sort of traditional out-of-the-way French restaurant frequented by locals. My wife noticed that her wine came from a cardboard box. The service staff were good, and the beer was cold.

Please know for your information that we receive as many French people as tourists, depending on the summer and school periods. Of course we receive tourists as a reminder you are dining in Paris, a city which welcomes 11 million tourists per year, so fortunately I receive tourists who come and return to see us each time they pass through the capital. Then concerning the cardboard which we call here In France we French Wine fountain!! That is to say a bag of wine, under vacuum, equipped with a small tap. The advantage of the BIB is precisely the vacuum of air which allows for the wine not to oxidize and therefore to keep for around 4 weeks after opening... All our BIBs come from the winegrowers with whom we work. Our BIBs contain exactly the same wine as in bottles. I hope to have clarified everything for you and it was a pleasure to have corrected you and improved your culture!!

Le Symposium was a wonderful restaurant. I wanted my 20 lady tour group to experience a “non touristy” brasserie and found it in Le Symposium. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and I would highly recommend it to anyone going to Paris.

Lovely evening with cheese fondue and salad. Friendly service. Not a leisurely experience, but a wonderful hour long dinner. Would recommend!

Most of the waiters were very rude and wouldn’t help choosing the courses. We only stayed because it was late and we were hungry. We ordered raclette and the cheese portions were minimal…also the charcuterie was really average. Only the young waiter was nice to us.
Le SymposiumHola Jordi???? sorry you didn't like my restaurant the young man is myself thank i can't be behind every waiter unfortunately concerning the portion it is very correct for 1 person but obviously if you share a dish it will necessarily be smaller in your eyes .. and with 20% I find that to be exaggerated !! I still wish you a good week
