Dining at Le Timgad tonight was an unforgettable experience for our group of six Americans. From the moment we arrived, albeit a tad early for our 7pm reservation, we were greeted with unmatched warmth and hospitality. Abdel and Stephanie, in particular, made us feel incredibly welcome, setting the tone for the wonderful evening ahead. We opted for the Oriental menu, a decision that delighted every one of our taste buds. The couscous, available in a variety of choices, was the star of the meal—perfectly cooked and flavored in a way that transported us straight to the heart of the Maghreb. Accompanied by a refreshing mint tea, a dessert that was both sweet and satisfying, and a smooth digestif to round off the meal, every aspect of our dining experience was thoughtfully curated and executed to perfection. Le Timgad’s ambiance and service are worth noting too. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between elegance and comfort, making it an ideal spot for both casual and special occasions. Moreover, the staff’s attentiveness and genuine friendliness added a personal touch to our meal that truly set this restaurant apart. The resto was full and twice while serving the table next to us, the waiter bumped his elbow against the head of my friend. That kind of spoiled an otherwise great evening.

After serving the main dishi, waiter does not watch if the customer finished or need something else: And do not take away finished dishes till we as the the bill. They are nice but not good follow up.

Our group of 7 had a very nice evening dinner there. For some, it was their first time eating Moroccan food and they loved it. Our waitress was super friendly and even offered us a digestif. I highly recommend Le Timgad if you happen to be in the area.

Food was delicious, as always. Service was friendly and smooth. We are at the terrace which was nice but there were many mosquitoes, maybe the restaurant can consider employing methods to deter the insects. Otherwise it was a great dining experience!

This is an excellent restaurant which I have frequented for around 5 years. The cuisine is excellent, the service is attentive and the atmosphere is very convivial. Well worth visiting. It is also excellent value.

We’re really spoiled at Le Timgad. I’ve known the place for almost 10 years, but they never cease to surprise me. Maybe it’s the lively atmosphere, families, groups of friends absolutely relaxed, even a bit too noisy for French standards ;-), everyone having fun and enjoying amazing food and great service. What else could one wish for?

We are fortunate to live a few minutes' walk from Timgad. They always provide a warm welcome and terrific food for a cost that is less than a brasserie. It is a good idea yo make a reservation as it can get busy.
