Everything wax good in this typical Alsatian inn. We had Munster coifie with potatoes and green salad and bibelaskaes. Ended with apple pie and white cheese pie. Very good price and kind staff.

6/10Just a basic tourist spot with average food. Service was really slow — we waited a long time for someone to take our order and again for the bill. They even forgot my husband's beer. Not great overall.

Edward and the restaurant staff were polite and friendly. So enjoyed the character of the building and the authenticity of the dishes! My port knuckle with cheese was out of this world! So tender I could cut it with a fork. My husband’s pork cheeks were as astounding!! We in the area we will definitely dine there again!!!!

10/10Service was friendly and professional, we told them we’d be bringing our little dog and they organised a lovely table for us and made us feel welcome. Food was great as expected and portion size was big, luckily we didn’t order starters. Can’t wait to come back again.

We highly recommend this restaurant for a great dinner! The good and service were superb. My wife and I both had the French onion soup as an appetizer. My wife said it was the best French Onion soup she ever had! Both our dinner dishes were excellent,, chicken cordon bleu and the coc a vin! The manager and server checked on us several times to make sure everything was satisfactory Capped off the night with strudel snd espresso. Treat yourself to this restaurant for a great evening!

10/10In a place where one may expect a tourist trap there is exactly the opposite. You are serviced good quality (and size) dishes of traditional Alsace cuisine and despite being in a very busy place you are in the centre of everything. The building and the location just add to the experience and make it unique.

A warm inviting dining establishment! From the time we sat down this place was warm and friendly! The bone marrow pork cheeks and cordon bleu were perfect. Finishing off with some strudel was the perfect ending g!

The pork knuckle with fried potatoes and pork cheeks were really good. The meat was so soft on the pork knuckle it was falling off from the bone.

8.5/10A lovely meal with my two-year old daughter in a historic winstub of Strasbourg. The food was tasty and hearty, the white beer I ordered ice-cold and delicious, and I really appreciated the warmth and helpfulness of the servers who made me and my little one feel welcome and assisted us with carrying the stroller in and out of the restaurant, set up a high chair, etc. Many restaurants would be much less receptive to a young child coming for dinner (however early) so this was much appreciated. The Alsatian fried potatoes were delicious, as was the salmon in Riesling sauce over sauerkraut. We both enjoyed the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream: the strudel was served warm and had a delicious balance between sweet, tangy and mildly spicy from the cinnamon. Delicious.
