Lovely place delicious food, a must for all cheese fondue lovers.

The inside space is too narrow and the waiters were rushing from one table to the other. Not really any attention go the customers. The fondues were good.

It is a small restaurant, with tables next to each other (less than 1 meter apart, or maybe not even 50cm). One could smell the food of their neighbour's and overhear without on purpose their conversations. A cough or sniff from another table might be worrying if one has a sensitive health issue. And the people passing by your table will for sure drop without intention their scarf into your cups or bread on the table, or even wipe your cups away with their bags. In short, in winter it feels even more crowded in such a small piece (like 30 m2 for about 30-40 chairs). Maybe in summer it would be better.... Food wise, not bad but expensive, but it is normal in Ouchy.

Friendly staff and delicious food! I had the Cordon Bleu and my husband had the Rostiburger. Both were very good.

Only one high chair ! There were several people in the restaurant as families. The restaurant said I had not mentioned a baby and yet I clearly did in my booking. Not really child friendly which is a shame as tge food is lovely.

Traditional Swiss kitchen - food was ok but nothing special. It was a busy night so service was so so, we waited about an hour for our food in a tightly packed dining area. It is Switzerland so it is expensive - but you don’t really get your money’s worth in food or service.

Third time this week for dinner at Le Vieil Ouchy. I wish we had a fourth night on this trip. Everything is wonderful and we are so happy to have found them.

The location, the boutique set up, the service and the food are all simply perfect. A must try if you are passing through Lausanne!

The manager could not find my reservation. After showing him my confirmation, he still placed us right in front of the door when there were many empty tables in the restaurant.

Merci for a lovely, relaxed lunch in your cosy restaurant. The fondue was delicious. We appreciated being offered an English menu, the server was prepared for everything. Friday lunchtime was busy, I recommend reserving your table

A very unpleasant person took care of us (2 people) on Saturday night. Insisted that we sit outside even though we had a booking and wanted to sit indoors. He replied that we should consider ourselves lucky enough to get a table. When we asked for advice on what to eat we got a dismissive reply. We started to feel unwelcome, ordered a bottle of wine and the same man came back and said 'we have a problem' and that the wine was not available. We felt we should have dinner somewhere else and informed him, he then kind of ousted us out. Very unpleasant experience, could not rate the food since we did not eat there. That is really too bad because we wanted to have dinner there and the setting looked very nice (indoor, many insects outside).

We were very excited to find this little restaurant and try their fondue. The food and wine were terrific and the ambiance was charming. Multiple staff took care of us and we’re very kind and attentive. It’s proximity to the lake is an added bonus. Would recommend!

Touristic place but the food is ok. Service is very long especially when you need to pay. I would not recommend but if you really wants to eat a fondue when you visit Lausanne you can consider it

We ordered 4 different fondues, the quinoa salad and a few additional dishes. The food was incredible. The server forgot our two bruschetta orders but he was very nice to us so we weren’t that upset. Great location and amazing food!

We had seating outside. Good authentic and delicious. Sizes large so ideal for sharing. Service surprisingly excellent as restaurant was full and only 2 servers.

Everything was great. Food, wine and view were excellent and wait staff was very attentive. Also many traditional Swiss dishes and food here. Would highly recommend.

The restaurant was amazing, great service brilliant atmosphere, fantastic food. So glad we found this. First time in Lausanne, this restaurant would make me come back.

It was obviously busy and staff were stressed but tried to be as attentive as possible. Atmosphere was good. Fondue was good but the "Filets de Perches" were awful. Fish was hard and tasteless and the French fries were soggy and cold. I would have sent them back had we not been invited to the restaurant by our friend. Overall disappointing and won't return.
