We were a party of six and wanted a traditional French restaurant with hearty food and a great atmosphere, and that is exactly what we got! The food was delicious, as was the wine. We particularly enjoyed the Raclette, it is a must! The place was packed out, with customers waiting outside for available tables. We had booked ahead to secure our table. At no point did we feel rushed with our meal. Would definitely recommend!

Great food excellent staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. In fact we canceled other reservations to visit again. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great place in the Latin Quarter

Le Vieux Bistrot was a lovely restaurant. It is small but with an inviting atmosphere. We came for the beef bourguignon and it did not disappoint. I had the shrimp scampi and it also did not disappoint. I suggest a reservation as there are only a dozen or so tables.

We had a great time trying raclette for the first time! The owners were very nice and patient with us. The food was tasty with generous portions that we took home for another delicious meal.

The 5th district is probably one of the must visit while your stay at Paris. The food at Le Vieux Bistror is all worth it. Fondue and Raclette are simply great.

After discovering the restaurant while on my first trip to Paris, I knew that I needed to return once I am back in the city. The fondue is so so sp good, the staff very lovely and the interior ist also amszing!

We had a lovely dinner on our first night in Paris. The cheese fondue was enough for more than two. The garlic shrimp were wonderful with the sauce you would love to have a spoon to finish the bowl!

The best meal in Paris! Everything was delightful and the best steak we had on our trip. We enjoyed it all, from the onion soup to the creme brûlée was delicious.

Really nice restaurant with great French atmosphere! The pierrade was great and the meat very tender. The soup a l'oignon was lacking cheese but flavourful overall. Would recommend to a friend

Boeuf Bourgignon was tender and delicious. Duck confit was fantastic. We would certainly return - and order the fondue which seemed very popular.

Its a very small and cozy restaurant, with very nice service and good food. It is not intended for big groups as it is a very small place, but the service is very good. When you enter the restaurant has a specific smell like strong cheese, so in case someone doesnt like this it may be a bit difficult to be there, but if you like it you get used to it very soon and enjoy the magic of fondue, raclette and other nice dishes. We ate fondue, confit de canard, onion soup, snails, we also had a good recommendation for wine so we enjoyed.
