Great experience overall. Our server Mun was amazing. Took the time to explain the dishes and made excellent recommendations. He was gracious and very friendly. This is where to locals go. So not touristy at all. Would definitely go back.

Very good food, would recommend the Cream Risotto in particular (very unique and high quality). Onion soup was good. Sancerre- good. Chocolate soufflé- very good. Vanilla Icecream- too sweet and cheap tasting. Service good and tourist friendly. They understand English 🥹 Straight forward and non-pretentious, Atmosphere- easygoing

The onion soup is perfect, the flavour, the texture is in great balance with the sweetness of onion. Apple tart with nice caramels apple but keep the sour flavours, the best apple tart ever! The duck leg is crunchy but moist inside Snails is great for the journey The waiter is friendly and helpful, his suggestion precisely help us to choose the meal I would love to have dinner here again and will recommend every people in Paris to have dinner here!

We did not know the restaurant is more of a local hangout. When we arrived, we were newbies but the server Mun made us feel welcomed and treated us just like one of his regulars. He can speak 6 languages fluently and was amazing. We had wonderful cuisines from the South of France, what this restaurant specializes in. The duck confit was delish along with a beautiful aperitif called AFTER CITRON. One must try that, so much more amazing than limoncello:) Now I am on the hunt for that aperitif. We also met one of the owners Baptist who was very nice as well. We had a lovely night at LVM!

The BEST duck confit in Paris! The duck was tender and well seasoned. Often, duck confit is dry. Mum welcomed us to the restaurant and explained the source of the menu items. Service was excellent. The restaurant has a local vibe with comfortable seating. We highly recommend this jewel of restaurant. We’ll be back to enjoy more menu items.

We stayed in the Madeleine neighborhood for five weeks, but sadly didn't find Village Madeleine until later in our trip. We enjoyed everything about this neighborhood, non-touristy, delightful bistro. Food and service were terrific and a good value for Paris. Favorite dishes: duck confit, escargot, herring, onion soup, and all the desserts.

It's the second time we had dinner at Le Village Madeleine. We recommend it. There is a nice dinner atmosphere. The dishes are correct. The waiter (owner?) is very friendly and speaks multiple languages.

From the onion soup to the perfectly seared duck confit, each dish was a culinary masterpiece. The intimate ambiance and attentive service heightened the overall dining experience. A delightful journey through French gastronomy. We will be seeing more of this place.

We first discovered this little gem in April last year, the food was so good & service excellent that we had to pay another visit when we were in Paris this time. We cannot fault it & will always come back when in Paris

My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after reading reviews and the fact that it was close to where we were staying. The restaurant is small but inside table space is roomy. Our waiter was very attentive. My husband had the white fish special which was a good size portion and I had the flank steak which was cooked perfectly with French fries. I would highly recommend this hidden gem.

This was our fourth visit in 3 weeks and it never disappoints. Great food and great service. Special shout out to Mun for great service of great meals and treating us (and everyone) like VIPs. The specials are always so tasty and authentic plus the regular dishes are consistently superb. It will be our first stop when we return in the spring. Can’t wait!

Great find! Small but not crowded, great onion soup and duck confit, and the service was friendly and attentive. A great evening. We’ll be back for sure.
