10/10The second time we have returned to this area of Paris and the second time we came to the restaurant The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming for a Saturday night Service was impeccable and the food was rustic traditional and delicious with emphasis on strong, rich flavours Wonderful and we will be back again next time we are in Paris for sure

10/10What a wonderful little gem! The flavors were spot on- what was supposed to be simple was simple and expertly executed, and the complex flavors were spot on. Perfectly cooked all around. The serving staff (owners?) were incredibly welcoming to us out-of-towners with kids, and were sure to explain anything they felt should be, such as the cooking temp of the pork (perfect, by the way). It may be little pricey for some, but we felt it appropriate for the service and food.

9.5/10The restaurant was a treat. The food was excellent, traditional cuisine and the owner and staff could not have been friendlier. A delightful evening in what felt like an exceedingly good neighborhood restaurant. The place was packed all night with Parisians, who certainly know their food. They accommodated both food allergies and a vegetarian in our group with ease. I'd go back.

9/10Lovely meal from start to finish. Impressive wine list made all the more impressive by the staff’s expertise and mastery of it. Dishes managed to be subtle, complex and yet refreshingly straightforward at the same time. Artichoke ragout starter and veal sweetbreads were particular standouts. Highly recommended.

10/10This place has the most amazing wine list. Way, way better than some restaurants with stars. Even the French come here for the wine (wink). Not only is the choice and selection remarkable but the prices are even more remarkable. People come here for the wine. The food is very nice but it is the wine that has the staring role.

9.5/10The restaurant had a good ambience and not very full so the service was excellent throughout our meal - the food as well was very good - we opted for a set menu (entree main and desert) which was very reasonably priced at 35euro pp - the main beef “Bourgogne” in particular was excellent as were the entree and desert - we accompanied that with a fine Rhone red (70euro) - the restaurant had an extensive wine list to choose from covering all major districts in France - this friendly good food and wine place is definitely worth a visit

10/10The only negative experience were guests at the table next to us - who used their mobile phones to show videos at maximum loudness. It is sad to experience such an inconsiderate behavior at such a great restaurant...

5.5/10Positives: wine list is amazing and mark-up is fair, the amuse buche, green asparagus starter and chicken with mushrooms were lovely. Negatives: the asparagus veloute starter had been salted to the every inch of its life (did the cap on the salt fall off and the sous chef not fess up?): the monkfish main - there are certain fish regularly served half cooked or seared (salmon, tuna, etc.) monkfish is not one of them (until last night). Seeing blood spots on the monkfish should be a giveaway to the chef this is not done. Final straw/hygiene issue: we intended to finish our meal with a cheese plate until we saw how the cheese was served: they placed a handheld cheese trolley on your table [in this case on the foursome table next to ours] and the gentleman there helped himself with the knife he was using and licking over and over again to the various cheeses on the trolley. I didn’t see anyone else order cheese but if this type of hygiene is tolerated in front of the house what is going on back of the house?

9/10Ordered from the set menu 35 Euros for 3 courses. Whilst it represented good value and the quality and execution was excellent I couldn’t help feeling jealous seeing the a la carte dishes wafting past looking and smelling wonderful.. I’ll certainly spend that extra extra time to access their best dishes. Only slight let down was the gruff and unfriendly front of house. Rest of the service was charming.
