Family lunch between two trains, we had booked early, and had a lovely meal. Service was prompt, food was fresh especially the mussels, and we were in and out in just over an hour (main dish only). No stress, that’s how we like it

We arrived bang on time at the restaurant but had to hang around for quite a while until a member of staff noticed us. He seemed really disinterested then said he was the wrong person to check us in so disappeared downstairs. Eventually someone else passed by and showed us to a table but it must have been 10 minutes after we arrived. We ordered drinks, the calamari and Camembert for starters and then the two different types of moules gratinees. The food was tasty enough but the mussels were tiny. The bill arrived without being asked but it was incorrect and even though I had mentioned to 3 different members of staff that we had booked through the Fork, they had failed to check my name against the booking and also failed to pass on the Fork discount ( but they did correct this on request). We were not made to feel welcome - a shame because apart from the mussels being so small, the food was otherwise ok.

I have visited the restaurant twice, coming for dinner at 19:00 and both times got a table on the 1st floor, though ground floor tables look a bit nicer. The staff is overloaded, but friendly and quick. The food is a good value for price. Fork discount of 20% was not deducted from the bill, bit our waiter (50+ y.o. man) was so much in stress running between many tables that it was just a pity to bother him again! It looks like the general management could be better, but the existing staff does their maximum.

The food was average. The service was not good either. They recommended ice to my white wine to cool it off. In France and ice for wine….. I also ordered ice cream and i repeated the flavours 3 times and they brought it wrong. Not recommended at all

We always love food at this restaurant. Today we were served by M Hassan. He was very attentive. Food was excellent and high quality. We received 30% of a la carte menu by booking with the Fork. We will return.

Service is good and the food is really delicious. I loved the kindness of waiters. It was a such a good time with my family and i would 100% recommend to anyone who would consider going there for a nice dinner

Very good mussels ! Good service, nice decor. Lovely “dame blanche” and the home made chocolate sauce was excellent. Only issue with this place is that my husband ate too much.
