10/10This restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away on a quiet street not far from Place des Vosges. In addition to an a la carte menu, they offer a 3-course menu for a very reasonable 31 euro. Everything we ordered was attractively presented, made with quality ingredients and delicious! Definitely a place to return to on our next trip to Paris!

8.5/10Quite a pleasant surprise. Rec by Steve’s and lived up to the hype. The escargot in veal sauce was a revelation. The shrimp avocado combo also quite good. Nice ambiance and truly attentive service.

10/10Excellent choice based on reviews. Three of us had the a la carte, one the fixed menu. Both menus were excellent. The staff were friendly and had a good sense of humour. Ambience was good, quite close seating but not a problem. Everything suited us.

10/10I visited Bougresse tonight as a solo diner. My husband and and I have been several times over the years. I was made to feel very comfortable. I enjoyed a steamed artichoke appetizer and fish dinner and the most wonderful, light dessert consisting of warmed orange slices, sorbet, and muesli.

10/10Wonderful small restaurant with traditional and delicious French food, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Very nice staff as well. We enjoyed our evening there immensely, and hope to go back next time we are in Paris. Be sure to book in advance, as it’s small and very popular! Highly recommended

6/10French onion soup was bland and not many onions. Beef bourgiogne was ok. Sauce was not thick enough and needed more red wine for flavor. Crème brûlée was average

8.5/10Classic French cuisine (boeuf bourguinon, onion soup, tarte tatin) done reasonably well in a lovely atmosphere. Food is lacking a bit in inspiration. Also, incense burning adversely affects the air. .

8.5/10We enjoyed the ambiance, but I think for most Americans, they would think it is a bit cramped. The food was delicious, but a bit on the salty side. Our waiters were very attentive and very good looking.

10/10Les Bougresse is a wonderful little bistro tucked away on a Marais side street. It was by far the best restaurant we dined at during our Paris trip. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming as is the service. The food was wonderful. My husband had muscles they were the best I think I ever tasted. I had a vegetable with goat cheese appetizer which was delicious. For my main course I had the Cod with mashed potato’s again wonderful! We returned for dinner a second time because we loved it so much. That time o had beef delicious! If you are in Paris, go here you will love it!
