Beautiful food, lovely house red wine and overall a wonderful experience. We had the set menu which was good value for money with plenty of choice, highly recommended the onion soup.

My favorite restaurant in Le Marias. The food is prepared exquisitely with great attentiveness to allergies. Owner has a good sense of humor and it’s even more special when his wife is working.

Cozy, intimate restaurant with friendly, attentive service. The managers were wonderful. The menu is small but well-curated, and the food — poached egg in red wine and roast cod for me and onion soup and duck, followed by crème brûlée for my husband — was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend to others and hope to have the opportunity to return ourselves. Just a lovely evening.

One of our favourite restaurants in all of Paris. The food is terrific, the room has a gorgeous cozy feel and the service is excellent. What I like the most is that it has a down to earth friendly feel, completely unpretentious, unlike many other Parisian establishments. The location in the very heart of Le Marais is wonderful. Finally, all this is provided at very reasonable prices. Our best value for money night out in all of Paris.

Hand made good. Charme place. They propose french food (finally I have found a place that doesn t serve hamburgers: food that you find everywhere and it is becoming booring). Very tasty duck (canard), amazing tarte tatin. Interesting carte de vin!! I will go back..

Cosy place, casual affair. nice choice on menu, classic French. we had a table at 6.30 and by 7.30 place was pretty full. Nice wine selection to suit all palates and budget. Would definitely recommend and certainly make a reservation.

This place exceeds all exceptions: outstanding food preparation, lovely and particularly warm service, and generally relaxed and welcoming vibe. The proprietor is charming and very accommodating when it comes to impoverished language skills. I'd return tomorrow night if I could.

I don’t come to Paris often, but when I do I make sure to come to Les Bougresses. Once again it did not disappoint - the food, wine and service are excellent and it remains my favourite restaurant. I had the foie gras, beef filet and tarte tatin, all were delicious! I shall continue to share it with friends as a must when in Paris!

The staff were amazing—helpful, welcoming, fast, willing to work in multiple languages—and the old building and eclectic decor were charming. It was pretty loud inside. The onion soup was just okay, the fois gras was lovely, and we really enjoyed our mains (chicken and veal).

Absolutely loved this little gem. The food was fantastic!! I wasn’t sure if they would be able to accommodate my celiac diet, but they did it with ease. I enjoyed the onion soup without the bread on top, the lamb which was super flavourful and the scalloped potatoes, which were the best I’ve had! Topped that off with their fresh fruit tart with Chantilly cream, which included pomegranates - so good! Our server was very fun and he gave me a hard time about me continuing to ask if they could do a dish SANS gluten…well as us celiacs know…not every server is as astute as he obviously was. 😁 Oh and he also made us a super yummy cocktail with lime, vodka and some kind of red juice. HIGHLY recommend this restaurant!!!! PS don’t show up early for an 8 pm booking. They clear out the early crowd and don’t open back until 8.

This spot was everything we hoped for! Paris has endless dining options, but this place stood out with great reviews and repeat visitors—and now we get why. The menu is small, so while we might not return during the same trip, the meal was excellent. It’s a cozy restaurant, so reservations are a must. We had the French onion soup (good, but not our favorite of the trip), escargot (amazing—don’t skip it!), lamb chops, steak with bone marrow, ravioli (all worth an order especially the lamb and beef), and finished with the chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming, making it the kind of charming Parisian experience you dream of. Highly recommend!

Food was fresh and tasty. Had the onion soup, veal with pasta and hot chocolate cake with ice cream and raspberry sauce. All well prepared and most importantly tasted great. Would recommend to anyone in that area of Paris.
