8/10I Had to tell them after the bill arrived that I HAD BOOKED WITH THE FORK AS HE WOULD NOT HAVE GIEN ME THE DISCOUNT, Why do I have to do this, are they not aware of the FORK

Les Bougresses is as good as a bistro gets. The foie gras appetizer was brilliant. I order this appetizer in the states, aboard the finest cruise ships, and elsewhere where fine food is served. Their version was the best I have ever had. The veal was excellent and the apricot sabayon was brilliant. The service too was excellent and the owner is friendly, interactive, enthusiastic, and is a great guide through the menu. We look forward to our next visit!

7.5/10We have been to Les Bougresses a couple of times and the food is always very good. This time our experience was less than ideal, it was at least 80 degrees in the restaurant and it was packed. We were seated inside against the wall and the staff moved a party of 4 (who were originally by the bar) to a table that literally pinned us in, every time one of the diners leaned back in her chair her hair brushed my wife’s hair. We are used to tight cafe seating in Paris but this was ridiculous, we could not wait to get out of there. No paying customers should have to endure people sitting literally in their face.

10/10We had to return to Les Bougresses after eating there two years ago. This a small but delightful place to eat where the food is wonderful and the service is not rushed but attentive. It is truly what you would imagine as a typical French bistro; cozy,good menu,fresh food and friendly service.

10/10I had an amazing time at Les Bougresses – a cozy, family-run restaurant with just a few tables, which gives it an intimate and authentic feel. I ordered a fixed menu for €31 that included a starter, main course, and dessert. Every dish was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and full of authentic French flavors. 10/10Another fantastic meal at the Bougresses. Well made, classic French cuisine in an unpretentious fun atmosphere. Although the restaurant was buzzing with activity we found the service and timing to be attentive and well-paced. Reasonably priced French cuisine that won’t break the bank.

10/10really enjoy the dinner @ les bougresses we ordered the beef and fish of the day (which is cod), the fish was well cooked and the source tasted great. the starter shrimp slice was very fresh and the ending desert fruit tarte and apple pie were the best we had in Paris ! plus, the cozy environment and warm hospitality was also great, tks~

8/10The restaurant is relatively small and creates a pleasant and quiet atmosphere. We arrived at opening time. The welcome was superficially polite. We received a menu without any explanation, and the feeling of confusion on our part created discomfort. It only became clear later, when other guests arrived, that there was another option. The second person, out of the two managing the entire restaurant, greeted the guests with a detailed explanation of the menu, including all the available choices. In short, our welcome was significantly lacking. Regarding the dishes, the duck dish was very delicious, as were the fish soup and the foie gras. The avocado with shrimp dish was very disappointing. Overall, we were disappointed compared to the expectations we had for this restaurant.

This restaurant is a hidden gem, tucked away on a quiet street not far from Place des Vosges. In addition to an a la carte menu, they offer a 3-course menu for a very reasonable 31 euro. Everything we ordered was attractively presented, made with quality ingredients and delicious! Definitely a place to return to on our next trip to Paris!

10/10Excellent choice based on reviews. Three of us had the a la carte, one the fixed menu. Both menus were excellent. The staff were friendly and had a good sense of humour. Ambience was good, quite close seating but not a problem. Everything suited us.

10/10I visited Bougresse tonight as a solo diner. My husband and and I have been several times over the years. I was made to feel very comfortable. I enjoyed a steamed artichoke appetizer and fish dinner and the most wonderful, light dessert consisting of warmed orange slices, sorbet, and muesli.

10/10Wonderful small restaurant with traditional and delicious French food, generous portions, and very reasonable prices. Very nice staff as well. We enjoyed our evening there immensely, and hope to go back next time we are in Paris. Be sure to book in advance, as it’s small and very popular! Highly recommended
