This spot was everything we hoped for! Paris has endless dining options, but this place stood out with great reviews and repeat visitors—and now we get why. The menu is small, so while we might not return during the same trip, the meal was excellent. It’s a cozy restaurant, so reservations are a must. We had the French onion soup (good, but not our favorite of the trip), escargot (amazing—don’t skip it!), lamb chops, steak with bone marrow, ravioli (all worth an order especially the lamb and beef), and finished with the chocolate lava cake. Everything was delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming, making it the kind of charming Parisian experience you dream of. Highly recommend!

Food was fresh and tasty. Had the onion soup, veal with pasta and hot chocolate cake with ice cream and raspberry sauce. All well prepared and most importantly tasted great. Would recommend to anyone in that area of Paris.

10/10This was easily our most memorable meal in Paris. We were traveling with a large group (8 people) and Lex Bougresses was able to accommodate us. The food was spectacular but at the same time it was not pretentious. Service was spot on. The ambiance was very much that of a high quality neighborhood restaurant that is sliding under the radar. Would recommend 10/10.

10/10The restaurant had been recommended to us by some friends in NC, and we with had dinner there with some friends who happened to be in Paris at the same time. One of them is a French teacher in the US who has been in Paris many times and knows the city very well. The food exceeded all of our expectations - from entree to dessert! It's in a tucked away spot in the Marais, with a quintessential French ambience. We highly recommend dining there if you are in Paris!

10/10Cute, eclectic, restaurant with a warm ambiance. Staff were friendly, and food was nicely presented and delicious. No one rushed you out the door, so we had a wonderful, relaxing dining experience. I even highly recommended to couple perusing the menu when I left. They thanked me, and went to dine in the restaurant. Thanks for a lovely evening! I highly recommend!

10/10Great menu with varied dishes. The starters we had -the goat cheese and Parma and mozzarella were delicious. The ravioli was plentiful and served nice and hot. The veal was very tender.

6/10Surprised that some of the meals weren't available even though we had just arrived. Restaurant extremely noisy and crowded. Food was just so-so. Felt a bit of a rush. Would not recommend.

10/10Food was excellent! Servers were knowledgeable, helpful, explained the menu offerings in English. We picked the 3-course fixed prix meal, had lots to choose from and were delighted with the presentation, quality and quantity of food.

6.5/10The waiter was fun and helpful. The starters (fish soup, muscles, gravalax) and main courses (pork, beef on marrow bone) were incredibly boring and tasteless. Deserts were good (apple crumble) and bad (ice cream).

Les Bougresses is as good as a bistro gets. The foie gras appetizer was brilliant. I order this appetizer in the states, aboard the finest cruise ships, and elsewhere where fine food is served. Their version was the best I have ever had. The veal was excellent and the apricot sabayon was brilliant. The service too was excellent and the owner is friendly, interactive, enthusiastic, and is a great guide through the menu. We look forward to our next visit!
