Nice place. Charming owner. Decent food. Terrific experience. We have never had Mauritiusian food. The food here is vaguely similar to Thai and Indian food. The foods good. Somewhat spicy, we liked it. This is a very nice neighborhood restaurant.

Love this restaurant. Missed it so much during Covid confinement. Crazy about the rum punchs, particularly the punch tamarind. Always choose the green papaya and mango salad and then proceed from there. The staff is always so earnest, professional and upbeat. One of our neighborhood cantines. Ate outside for the first time and street noise is a bit distracting. Love the interior of the restaurant. Will stay commited to an inside table. Sleek and intimate all at the same time.

Honestly no taste to my food. Could have added some vegetables with the rice and curry that was quite bland. Nice place, nice service but a wasted opportunity to taste Mauritanien food which is normally full of spice and flavors

Kid’s menu is a plus, kitchen is nice (though very limited for a vegetarian), service is great.

We were pleased to find this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. My husband's first course of steamed pork nems were absolutely delicious my original choice was unavailable and the replacement was disappointing. The main courses were very good but needed the hot spice accompaniment they offered.

Good food but small portions. A bit on the pricey side for both quality and quantity of the food offered. As an example The stuffed crab was good but literally 3 small bites.

We were going there very often but the recent months they changed the cook I think the food doesn't taste as good as before even the presentation is worse and the noodles I ordered today was way too salty....really a pity....

Really disappointed by the service. Apart from that the food is okay but not amazing. The price is okay if you book it through la fourchette otherwise is quite pricey but I guess that is the average price of the neighborhood.

Food was incredible. Portions were small so I’d advise ordering an appetizer and/or a side. Flavors were spectacular. Staff had a few issues. Took a few minutes before we were given menus, even though the Restaurant was empty when we arrived (but was packed by the time we left). Also, our youngest son ordered coke and they were completely out of it (only had diet). We ordered two orders of Naan bread but they were forgotten. Had to remind the staff, and then they brought cheese Naan (we had family members allergic to cheese so we had to send it back). Finally got our naan, as more of a dessert as we were all done eating at that point. But, it was delicious. I have to say, we had some issues, but none of them were malicious or malignant. Most seemed like truly honest issues/mistakes. I’m sure they didn’t intend to be out of coke or forget our naan bread. That’s why I don’t want to give them a bad review. The food was truly delicious and I would definitely return.

It was a very nice evening in Les Filaos. A heartly welcome, quick service and good recommendations on the menu. It is definitely not carribean, as it is described at the fork's website, but Mauritius. We had a delicious meal and everybody enjoyed it.
