I booked a table for myself for that evening. I put in the comments that I would attempt to speak French but that it likely won't be very good! When I arrived at the restaurant and said (in French) that I had a reservation, one of the guys there knew who I was and addressed me by name. Good start! I was able to choose one of three reserved tables for 2. The waitress told me the day's special and let me choose. I ordered in French, with most, if not all, of the conversation being managed in French - they were very understanding and patient with me. If I'm being uber critical at this point, I might say that the waitress and waiter passed by me a few times too often, clearly checking how far through my meal I was. A little more personal space would've been appreciated. I ordered the special, boeuf bourguignon, followed by tiramisu. The food was great, too much for me to finish, but good nonetheless. The only downside of the night, and it's probably just because I'm overly self-conscious, was I did feel the other diners were paying too much attention to me - pointing out the fact I was sitting and eating on my own. This made me feel slightly uncomfortable, but like I said, was probably just a personal thing. This doesn't take away from a very good meal, excellent service and a good inviting restaurant.

Really good atmosphere , bustling with groups , families , couples , solo diners . Good vibe . Friendly & helpful staff - English menus & english speaking waiters. .Great food at and very reasonably priced . We really enjoyed our evening .
