If you're going to be a chicken place, you have to do the chicken well. Tepid, flabby-skinned, and dry meat does not count. The fries were tepid too, and the broccoli side was just horrible: Grossly overcooked pieces floating in what appeared to be just cream. Service was brusque, and unwelcoming, and the bar is very poorly stocked. Overall, they just appear not to care very much about what they are doing. Very disappointing.

A lovely restaurant. Informed, helpful service. An unusual menu that offers a selection, but the star of the show is the rotisserie chicken that comes with a small bowl of roast onions & lardons providing moisture. Optional superb fries &, that evening, caramelised chicory. All perfect. House wine excellent for the price. Not to be missed.

Respectably good food. We ordered the lamb chops and duck breast, both came with french fries. Both the lamb and duck were cooked medium rare, which tasted fine but our dinner knives were blunt, couldn't really cut through the pink meat. Fries were tasty but a little soft and soggy. Also ordered a half carafe of red wine, very good. Server was a little stressed at the beginning, very busy, but then he became more relaxed and we chatted with him. We sat outside, warm evening, very lovely, but we're not used to being surrounded by smokers on all sides.
