Very nice staff and good food.

The price was so cheaper than that as we expected

Very correct local food at a very reasonable price. Historical neighborhood.

Food and service were very good. However, did not appreciate the charge for extra bread to go with our hummus starter (the 3 small crackers that came with the dish were way too little for the amount of hummus served), nor the 10% supplement added to our check for sitting outside!!! We should have been informed of extra charge for terrace seating before we sat down.

They were very kind and polite to tourists. I had the best paella ever, it was delicious! And it was reasonably priced compared to other restaurants.

Nice food (we ordered a black rice+Entrecote with rosemary) and drink and price very reasonable; we will definitely to try different dishes and look forward to visiting there again.

Service, food and drinks all very good despite the busy Christmas/New Year period. Breath of choices and pricing also very good, Finally, all set in a lovely well positioned square just off La Ramblas.

We went here on a referral from a family member. Food was ok. When it finally arrived it was was not hot. My husbands steak was raw (we did not send it back). Server who took our order was not very knowledgeable on how the food was prepared and misled us in our ordering.

Making a reservation for our meal was beneficial, a lovely table was prepared for us

Paella not good

The tapas starters were tasty, especially the bombas, and the deserts were fine. However, our main course, the meat and fish paella, was disappointing. It was dry, not very hot and overcooked. It looked as though it had been sitting around for some time. The wine, a Rioja, was very good but overall, we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant.

We were seated at a table for four right next to the area where tour groups come in. In the time we were there for dinner two large groups came in.It was noisy and a lot of quick serving, tour over to get ready for the next group. Both groups were pretty loud…just having fun but it was not conducive to a relaxing meal. My expectations were high as this was recommended to someone in the US whose wife is from Barcelona.I made reservations quite awhile before our dinner date.I expected something a bit calmer for a relaxing meal and conversation.

Good food. Only negative was payingb7% tobeat outside. What a take on.

Cheap price, mediocre food, we came here on advice of friends, but it was once more a confirmation why we prefer to avoid these super touristic and crowded establishments. They added 10% on our bill because we sat on the terrace, which wasn’t mentioned when we received our table.

We had a reservation but the seemed more interested in the walk in queue (30+). We requested in the lovely square outside but got shuffled inside then upstairs.. where no one was. Nothing was reserved. We felt like an inconvenience. Server guy was lovely and the food was good BUT over shadowed by terrible seating and ambience.

We had to ask for oil or butter for bread. 1 roll for 2 people, bread basket could ve been lined with a napkin. Calamari was dark, plain. Salad and hummus were good. Bottled water was warm, but couple next to us had cold water. Margarita was fair. Wasn t as enticing as picture of margarita in window

Service was below satisfactory. Churros were soggy and cold.

We booked this restaurant as it seemed highly regarded online, however it felt short of our expectations of a restaurant in Barcelona. While there was lots available on the menu, perhaps the range in availability meant a decline on the quality. The dishes lacked a personal touch; with such lacklustre presentation and the speed at which it came out of the kitchen, our experience felt very much like a chain restaurant. The restaurant was empty inside, we were one of the only ones seated. Our server stood 10 feet from our table, stared at us while we ate and the second we finished our last bite, he raced to grab our plates. We felt very rushed and didn’t get the experience of relaxing and taking our time as we hoped. Asking us for an online review in exchange for a free coffee not only felt disingenuous, but unprofessional and unlike a refined restaurant.

Good food! Good service! Reasonable price. They serve quickly for Tapas, salad, steaks. Then, paella followed. They kept good timing for service. Their wines were also well selected with reasonable price.

We stumbled across the restaurant while we were out and about. After speaking the the staff we decided to book a table. The food was excellent we would definitely recommend this place

Absolutely disappointing and was the worst paella 🥘 we have ever eaten in Spain. Their service was non existent and didn’t even bother to check up on us. We ordered a bottle of wine which I had to pour out myself. Will never revisit this place again.

Very experimental & interesting both the foods & drinks. But personally I love challenging menu but prefer more matured taste.

We have visited several times over many years but this time, even after booking several months before, we were put on a table inside which had a smell of sewage. We were moved to another table with one seat facing a wall, both tables were inside and non available outside, even though we had booked. Not happy and will not be returning.

Terrible service with very unfriendly waiter. They completely forgot our order and had to wait over an hour for our entrees.

The food was overall disappointing. The best thing was the chicken Croquets and bread with the jambon. Some calamari was tender, but the big piece with the tentacles had a crunch. The paella was too fishy IMO. I did not enjoy it. We had to order a portion for 2 even though we only wanted one portion. The potatoes were just ok. The crème brûle was just ok. We love the location, outdoor seating and view of the square.

I have eaten here on several occasions. Tonight our waiter was indifferent. Did not serve the two main courses together with the pasta on the side. Then got annoyed when we said cancel the missing entre! Food was excellent but we were frustrated and went elsewhere for coffee and dessert!

My daughter recommended this restaurant from the time she went during her study abroad almost 20 years ago. The food was excellent and the quality must have stayed the same all these years
