Warm yet discrete welcome. The quality, pace of serving and presentation of the food was excellent. Staff present when they needed to be there. I will be back. Merci de votre accueil.

The culinary delights, the service, in fact simply everything was excellent

Excellent view, service and food

The view at night was a reflection of the lights inside. The amouse bouche, great, wine selections great, the foie gras great…The rumpsteak was undercooked and just ok. The lobster was just ok. The service was great. As an overall, I was underwhelmed. But I appreciate the experience.

It was fine. Some dishes were great but most were more presentation than flavor. Was surprised it has a Michelin star. Also, lighting in back section was too bright.

The building of the hotel is a historical place (a monastery) and has a magnificent view. Service is very good.

Everything was perfect from the decor to the food to the service

The food, service and ambiance were all TOP NOTCH. The choice of A La Carte dishes and wide selection of Prix Fixe Menus was impressive. For those of you with allergies, you can be confident in the skills of the kitchen. Overall, a wonderful experience!

+3The food was absolutely fantastic. The thoughtful explanation of the wine pairings made it clear that every detail mattered. It elevated the whole experience. And the interaction with the chef was truly the cherry on the cake — personal, warm, and memorable. A big thank you!

Food is exceptionally good, with excellent service. Perfect view and ambience to accompany the delicious dishes. Highly recommend. Will come again if we visit Lyon again.

The service was great. Everybody talked English. The apéritif were good. I ordered the cured rumsteak as my husband. He referred his was good. Mine was fibrous, good taste but it was hard to chew. Dessert was great.

I went to celebrate my birthday at the Terrasses de Lyon. I was really looking forward to it, since all the things I saw about the place were good. Well, the day arrived, I went there with my husband and the place looked great, really fancy and cozy, and a very polite staff. The problem is when you sit in your table and starts to be served. They take forever to come to you (even with the restaurant full of servers). I arrived at 12:30, I ordered at 13h. 30 minutes of waiting, with nothing but a glass of water. We ordered the Lunch Menu (52€ pp). I haven't seen a plate with so few food in a very long time. The plates took forever to come, the portions were very very few and nothing really outstanding that justifies the price, time taken or the food quality. Its was a waste of time and money. You will be better served anywhere else in Lyon, I guarantee you. I left 14:30h, hungry and with an unhappy 100 € bill paid.

Lovely service and food!
5.5
Elegant place, nice presentations. Maybe my palate was off but none of the 3 plats were distinctive in flavor. The halibut tasted downright bad. Maybe my delight the night before at Rustique set my palate on a different path.

Really lovely service and good food. Could haves paid a little bit of attention to detail on the comments I left when i made the reservation. Otherwise the staff was very courteous and excellent food
5.5
The food was creative but mediocre and not good value for money. Out of four courses, we liked two. Service was good but we were disappointed overall as we expected better.

The view is not as expected because of the lights in the room Food is good but not really great

Truly outstanding from the beauty of the restaurant to the excellent attentive staff to truly memorable innovative dishes this will be one of my favorites We live in New York and travel extensively I rarely write reviews this was worthy of such praise
4.5
We felt the unwelcoming manner of your staff/s the moment we arrived. Mannerisms, stiffs protocols and lame explanations kills the joy of being in the restaurant. Having being seated at the end of hall, we had to wait 15 minutes before we were being offered a menu, and not to mentioned to order our aperitifs. There was a lot of talking around the staffs but no attention was given until food is served. I have given a 3 stars for service, only because we felt that there were only 2 person who have deserved it more. Food was really overrated and disappointing. Our duck and beef were overcooked and it was impossible for us to choked them down. No replenishing of water or pouring of wine. Definitely a no go for me, utterly spoilt my birthday celebration dinner.

Fantastic food! We are both gluten intolerant and the restaurant could easily cater for us. Topped off with a great veiw

Great restaurant in a fantastic location overlooking Lyon. Superb composed tastes from the kitchen, in the fresh dishes. Ambience is fantastic here, also friendly and skilled service. I can highly recommend this restaurant.

Everything was excellent…except the music. They played the same 5 songs on repeat for 3 hours. It was maddening. We let our server know and she said she would check on it and it never changed.

This is a restaurant we return to each time we go to Lyon for their very good bread and cheese cart, and desserts. The mains we are never a huge fan of, they are very good at accommodating for gluten free, and have even accommodated for dairy and gluten free before. Just be aware that dinning can take 2-3 hours sometimes.

+4The entrance was a bit hard to find, but everything else was amazing! The food was great and all the servers were very nice.
9.5
The food and ambience were impeccable. However, in terms of service, the attention to details could be improved. We had to ask 2 times for the butter which took around 20min to be delivered. The restaurant wasn't even close to full at that moment, I suspect that there could be intentional négligence causing the delay.

We visited Les Terrasses de Lyon as a treat whilst on holiday. The food itself was perfectly good, but it was rather safe. There was no 'wow' dish, as you might expect for a Michelin starred restaurant. However, the service was poor. It seemed only the young lady did any work - the other four wait staff ambled around the room and on the odd occasion offered guests a plate, but mostly it was one young lady. And for some reason, there was a huge gap between the start and end of the meal. The first few courses of the tasting menu arrived as expected, then there was a gap of around 90 minutes where we only received one course. It was extremely frustrating and spoilt the experience.

It was a perfect night with perfect attention from the attentive staff and the food was all excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant and go for the full menu.
