10/10We had a romantic dinner here. The view is outstanding, the service is attentive, the wine list includes some reasonably priced options, and the menu included a vegetarian option—not always found in Lyon. Finally, the food was presented beautifully and tasted delicious.

10/10We had an extra lovely moment yesterday at Les Trois Dômes to celebrate my partner's birthday. We were welcomed to the best table of the restaurant with the best view, which is already outstanding. The food was just so good and well done, we were extremely satisfied. Adele suggested a series of glasses of wine: each one was a delight. Thank you so much for your warm welcome and for taking great care of us, thank you to the whole team and in particular to Nicolas, Louis and Adele once again: we really had a lovely moment. Highly recommended and we will certainly come back!

7/10Unfortunately, there is a bar connected to the restaurant, and the bar was very noisy. This detracted from the experience of dining in a lovely setting. It would be much better if they shielded the restaurant from the noisy bar.

7.5/10We arrived at 1330 to be told that the lunch menu was finished for the day and we needed to pay for full meals. We kept our reservation and our first choice wine (Sancerre de Domain H. Bourgeois) was also not available. These changes notwithstanding, the food was creatively presented, matching the atmosphere of the space. Nevertheless, the price to quality ratio ... Especially for the supposedly non existent lunch menu ... Was extremely disappointing. Overall, this was a pedestrian meal at a ridiculous price.

Had a menu lunch with friends. Starter something with boiled cold leak, tasteless. Main course was pollock ( fish), with parnsnip piuree, not able to be changed with anything. One of the worst meals, unfortunatly.

10/10We ate at Les Trois domes on 2nd Oct 2023 to celebrate my birthday. The skyline views of Lyon as the sunsets and at night were stunning. The maitre d’ and all the waiting staff were very welcoming, helpful and efficient. They have great customer service throughout. The food and wine were faultless and they even provided a birthday treat for me, with a candle, after the meal. Would highly recommend and will certainly return next time we’re in Lyon.

10/10The views from the restaurant are beautiful and there doesn’t appear to be a bad table. Service was excellent and the servers were professional. Our food was delicious and the presentation was first class. The cost was definitely worth it and what you would expect from a fine restaurant.

I took a chance when I saw the other reviews and booked this amazing restaurant for dinner. We were beyond impressed with everything - the views from the restaurant, the ambiance, the food, the service. Everything was on point. We would definitely book again should we be in Lyon in future.

The 180 degree panaromic view of beautiful Lyon city and Rhone river with the divine food and wine made my last night stay at Sofitel, Lyon with friends an amazing special dining experience ! The staff were v attentive and professional. Thank you v much. Aligato Goh Sai Mas.

10/10We booked here for lunch after checking out of our apartment, and had a most enjoyable time. The staff were professional and friendly, and made us feel welcome. The food and wine were excellent, and the view is probably one of the best in Lyon. Highly recommended.

6.5/10Good service though the food was not as good as I expected: lamb was somewhat tough. The carpet was a little dirty (crumbs and old food under the table (and we were the first for evening dinner). Seating is right up against other seats, making it difficult not to bump seats and get in and out. View was good though they need all 3 domes to light up at night, not just one! One can't ding the restaurant but the chef might want to lobby the owners!

2/10DO NOT BOOK - THEY ARE CLOSED. We flew into Lyon for the day to have lunch at Les Trois Domes. When we arrived for our reservation It was permanently closed.

10/10The restaurant was excellent from the entre to the dessert. Each dish was prepared with a balance of flavors and artistry.. The service was attentive and complemented the panoramic view. The only negative point was the wine pairing. The recommendations were poor for the dishes selected. The wine steward suggested a Pinot Noir from Alsace . While I thought it odd to pair with a fish course and his comment about it being the same grape as in Burgundy —ignoring the terroir, I went along with the suggestion. In fact it was too heavy, a chard or meursault would have been much better. I suspect for dinner a more experienced wine person is available.

9.5/10This must be the best view of all the Lyonaisse restaurants! The restaurant is not large and consequently all the tables have a lovely view of the domes of the city. For dinner we were seated next to the floor to ceiling window in the southeast corner with a view over the Rhône toward the university which is beautifully lit at night. For breakfast we were given a table next to the window on the north where we had a panoramic view from the Basilica on the Fourvière to the recently renovated Hôtel Dieu. The breakfast offering was fabulous but the dinner cuisine was at the top of the Michelin scale! We chose the menu Trois Domes and savoured every course and the additional surprise additions from the chef. We highly recommend the restaurant especially for those new to the city.
