10/10Really nice location. Beautifully simple decor, loved the old photos from Turkey. Great food, great service and I'm not sure if it is family owned & operated, but the vibes were very nice

5.5/10I chose this restaurant based on very good reviews. I made a choice from the menu and then was offered some meze, where 20ish of them was brought to the table on a tray for me to chose. I do not like that kind of behaviour. We picked 2, of which one was tratziki. I am sorry, this wasn't the real tzatziki. We double checked in the internet, thinking maybe this is its Turkish version, but no, it was something close or alike Tzatziki. The mains arrived with rice, for us both. Shouldn't it be bulgur? I ordered Ordek. The sauce tasted like chineese sweet and sour sauce. Duck wasn't of great quality. I really regret booking this restaurant. I spent only 4 days in Amsterdam and could have had a much better meal for this amount.

+1I recently dined with a group of friends at Levant, authentic Turkish cuisine. The food was truly delicious, starting with a delightful selection of Mezze that tantalized our taste buds. The main dishes that followed were equally delicious showcasing the flavors and quality that define authentic Turkish cuisine. For dessert we had baklava served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The friendly and attentive staff, combined with the warm welcome we received, added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience. The restaurant's great ambiance and classic interior created a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Additionally, the option to reserve the cozy terrace on the canal is a wonderful touch, perfect for those looking to dine al fresco in a picturesque setting. We will definitely go back again.

10/10We had an incredible time at Levant! The atmosphere was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious. As someone who has lived in Istanbul, I can confirm that the taste is truly authentic. The outdoor seating area is like a dream, with a killer view of the canal. It's the perfect spot to enjoy the weather. And the inside is super cozy too. Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this hidden gem. Give it a try, and I promise you won't be disappointed!

6/10Food was good. Service a little slow. Was not pleased that they pushed too hard. the hummus selection as if it was part of the meal but added on 9.95 euro for each of the two plates we selected. With a glass of wine , ice tea and appetizer, hummus and meal 96 euro. Thought that was a rather expensive average meal.

10/10This was our favorite meal in Amsterdam! Weather permitting (and we had a beautiful evening to enjoy) ask for a table outside and enjoy the view of canal boats going by. The menu was intriguing and we were both pleased with our choices, as well as the wine that was recommended.

10/10A lovely place to eat and a wonderful meal. It was nice to see inside a canal-side building. The mezzo was amazing, the wine choice by the glass was limited, but we were very happy with what we chose.
