We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The flavors were amazing. One of our best meals in Amsterdam.

Unfortunately the server misheard my order so I got lamb instead of chicken. However, he was most apologetic and took it off the bill and gave us a complimentary dessert. The mezze starter was delicious (they are large portions so be careful as you may not have room for the main).

Very nice service. I would though recommend a wider selection of alcoholoc beverages and wine. The wines are mostly Turkish, which was not to my taste. Also there is no beer selection (at least on the beverages menu).

Not impressed with the food. The duck was uneatable. Would not come back.

One area for improvement is bread quality. Either make or buy, it needs to be much better than what was served. I think prices are a bit high, but could be justified with location and ambiance, especially the terrace.

Really nice location. Beautifully simple decor, loved the old photos from Turkey. Great food, great service and I'm not sure if it is family owned & operated, but the vibes were very nice

I chose this restaurant based on very good reviews. I made a choice from the menu and then was offered some meze, where 20ish of them was brought to the table on a tray for me to chose. I do not like that kind of behaviour. We picked 2, of which one was tratziki. I am sorry, this wasn't the real tzatziki. We double checked in the internet, thinking maybe this is its Turkish version, but no, it was something close or alike Tzatziki. The mains arrived with rice, for us both. Shouldn't it be bulgur? I ordered Ordek. The sauce tasted like chineese sweet and sour sauce. Duck wasn't of great quality. I really regret booking this restaurant. I spent only 4 days in Amsterdam and could have had a much better meal for this amount.

As a Turk, it is a restaurant you should definitely visit during your visit to Amsterdam, amazing flavors and wonderful attention.
