9/10This evening was arranged to celebrate my birthday, and a table for 8 was booked. From the arrival, Brihime welcomed us with his warm embrace, Franscois, at the bar, we were served in no time; What a wonderful evening, the team did all they could to make the evening special, and it was a very cosy time, we actually lost track of, the time, and left close to 11, four hours of pure fun. We exchanged sms's on Sunday with friends and family to share the great memories; The lake was calm, the light breeze refreshing, the perfect setting for a perfect night, thanks Lido, you did beyond good.

8/10Compared to the week before, the food quality was far below par, (while I write this I wonder if anybody will even bother to respond/consider a regular client worthwhile) my fillet steak was ordered medium, it was well done, my wife’s ribs were 50% fat, one week earlier the same meal perfect, and then so off. Thankfully the location helps!

10/10The location takes your breath away, certainly the best in the area. The staff are friendly, and try their utmost. We have been clients for years, and will always be, for family, neighbours, business meetings, a very impressive place to be. Alan Watson Chambery

7.5/10Bad service. Too slow, the waiter did not warn about the hot dish, and we got burnt fingers. the food is delicious, the view is beautiful. they always forgot something, every time we got up and looked for the waiter, we themselves took a glass of wine from the bar and spoons for dessert. the waiter did not help with choosing a dish.

3.5/10We had high expectations of this well-placed restaurant for our Sunday lunch. Only two positives come to mind - the view, and the English waitress that allowed us to select our table. The rest is all bad. I had 'veal', which was over-cooked and tasteless. My wife had cooked vegetables, which can only be described as horrible - both to look at and were way too salty to eat. Our son had a burger, which was at least edible. The red wine we were served was 'cloudy' - full of particulates as though it hadn't been filtered. When we queried this, our 'expert' waiter (irony) told us that all good wines are like this - trust me, they aren't. And finally, that leads me to the waiter, who was probably one of the least professional, courteous, or knowledgeable, I've ever encountered. Rude. Unpleasant. Ignorant. It really is a shame, as this restaurant is ideally placed by the lake. But perhaps that's the problem - the location is all. Food comes second. Service comes third. Our advice - go somewhere else, or take a picnic and eat on the beach.
