+1Service was good, environment is ok. Food is good, but not really an authentic Cantonese food
LiLi, The Peninsula ParisDear Sir Zhang, Thank you for your comment following your recent lunch in our restaurant LiLi. We are sorry to hear that your dining experience did not quite live up to your expectations and that you did not find all the anthuentic antonese flavours you had hoped for. Nevertheless, we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back very soon to take you on a real culinary journey. Yours sincerely, Vincent Pimont - Managing Director The Peninsula Paris

A charming spot at the Peninsula Hotel in Paris. The service was outstanding. There's a DJ playing lovely mood music at just the right volume. The food was good, though not entirely authentic.

Absolutely Stunning the Staff was amazing and very attentive to everything made us feel so welcomed!

Massively overpriced. Quality of food is mediocre. Took the menu of 75 Euros. Ordering a glass of white burgundy wine was too challenging and instead a glass of chardonay from California was suggested. Finally, I decided for a wine from Provence of very low quality (and prize in the shop) but for the price of a Meursault (Even premier Cru). Incredible experience for 140 Euros. Rich people do not care about such ridiculous prizes in such places but I nevertheless find it surprising to see that such a restaurant quite fully occupied with such quality of wines and food you are served.

Excellent Chinese food. Not too Tracy but the Chinese Peking duck was just great ????

Lili’s is a remarkable restaurant with a bizarre fault, the management. While sipping champagne and having a pleasant conversation with my partner awaiting superb food, the manager brings in a disc jockey and proceeds to blare music so loud it was difficult to think. Great food, great service, terrible idea - a disc jockey with subwoofers in a otherwise possible Michelin level restaurant? Seriously?

Perfect !

Did not feel like a fine dining restaurant, the starters were average (we ordered the spring rolls and vegetable dumplings) and the main course was good… overall nothing special. Location of the hotel is nice & the DJ was nice too

I told three different people at the restaurant about my bell pepper allergy, still I was served and eaten accidentally one bite of green beans with bell pepper. The meat was tough and swimming in canteen quality gravy. The dimsum was barely average. The fried rice was good. All in all very expensive for the quality. Service inconsistent.

Very good food, rather expensive though. Elegant atmosphere. Lunch menu excellent..........................................................

We had the roast Peiking duck. It was sooooo tender with crispy skin, many pancakes and veggies. Second serving was stir fried duck with veggies. Such a wonderful flavour!!! Dessert was super creative.

Peking duck was heaven!

This restaurant was a great find a year ago. Service used to be impeccable. We were excited to go back but were very disappointed. The service was very average for a restaurant of this quality. The food was below ok and the duck used to be so much better. A year ago, it was an amazing experience. Last saturday was a huge disappointment. We had great expectations and were very disappointed. Never again.

The food was so tasteless and disappointing. The duck’s texture is off (overcooked?) and the other dishes are too salty/ not good! Plus service is very, very cold. And the decor looks cheap. Disappointed

Once you recover from the bill you realise you were treated to an exceptional dining experience. The eight course tasting menu is a delight. You can taste the quality of the chef and ingredients in every bite. The service is even beyond what you would need. Knowledge, kindness and attentiveness abound. Eating alone? They’ve got that covered, an iPad with latest edition of every publication known to man from every country. A nice touch. Might get a loan and go back for dinner tonight.

Despite an awesome decor the service is correct but somewhat inattentive.

FRAUD CHEAT I would expect to be cheated from a small shop in Paris but not by the restaurant at the Peninsula. I have a blog on Peking Duck around the world having eaten at over 500 from Peking to Russia to Australia to Paris to US, etc. The Lili served in two courses and which I really liked asked if I wanted the second course cooked differently than the usual meet. For that I will give them an A+. The duck came and there were 8 small pancakes, about 10 pieces of meat (also A+ as ( like with the skin) but only about 8 small pieces of skin. I asked the waitress is she did an half duck and she said yes and I thanked her (later to understand that she did not understand me). To add to it, while tasty, the skin was not crisp and there was fat on it. The bill came and they charged for a whole duck and the wine I refused. Had I not looked...... Then they had the nerve to say it was the whole duck and that I never asked the waitress.

Excellent meal.

The decoration (Jing Opera style) is somewhat unusual for a Cantonese restaurant, but at least a nice trial mixing French architecture with Chinese elements. As with the food, it is decent given the consideration of the price tag. Overall a nice casual experience for Chinese food in Paris.

We had a special lunch at Lili with friends who were in Paris. The service was typical Peninsula, meaning attentive, helpful, and not intrusive. They took special care of my friends' kids and were overall wonderful. The dim sum and mains were excellent and again typical for a Peninsula restaurant.

Beautifully decorated, sophisticated, and located within Hotel Peninsula close to l'Arc de Triomphe. The dishes were authentic and loyal to the Chinese palate. A very classy Chinese dining experience where the highest quality of ingredients are used. We highly recommend the Iberico Pork Cha Siu and the Chef's specialty dumplings!
