We were completely scammed. We were rushed to order from a limited menu that was significantly smaller than the standard menu which was posted on the Fork website and outside the restaurant door. What we hadn't realised was that the prices on this smaller menu were around 25% higher (in one instance 37 % higher) than the prices for the same dishes on the standard menu. To add insult to injury we were not given the 20% discount offered on our Fork booking. This meant that we ended up paying roughly £35/head for a one course very mediocre curry and beer instead of an expected £25/head. A 40% scam! Absolutely appalling. We will never return and would suggest giving this restaurant a huge miss! We would also ask that Fork remove this restaurant form their website for the sake of their own reputation.

The food was great. It’s right in the center of Gamla Stan. The restaurant is rather small, but we still managed to make a last-minute reservation. Definitely worth a visit.

My family and my girlfriend's family met here for dinner for the first time and we had a great time enjoying the yummy food and the traditional pakistaní and indian foods. Very good food, the staff were very genuin and nice and gladly helped to take a great photo of us and the setting was very calm and cozy.

Authentic Indian/Pakistani food not dumbed down for the Swedish palate. The menu clearly states how spicy dishes are, so if Vindaloo is not your thing, you can find many other dishes to eat. Service was friendly and attentive. The wine list is small but well chosen.

the amount of chicken pieces in dishes was very little. The sauce was too sweet. The waiters did not bother to ask us about our preferred sauce flavour. Overall I can say that dished are too small compare to indian restairant standard.

We had lamb briyani and chicken tikka masala as mains. Very delicious. Garlic naan excellent.

Good food but somewhat overpriced for the portions. Was charged 79SEK for a big bottle of water when it is very common in Sweden that you get served tap water for free. I that was the case so definitely my fault for not cross checking when the waiter pushed for it so hardly.

One of the best Indian restaurant near city center. Food was amazing and hospitality was excellent.

Good restaurant, the person who welcomed us was really kind and the meal was quite good ! The only thing we didn’t like was the price of the water : 80 SEK for a bottle, it’s really expansive. Apart from that, prices of food are correct and I recommend king prawns.

We are glad that we booked 20% discount on food bill. However, the waiting time is really, extremely long. It too them 40 mins to prepare our 4 small appetisers and another 35 min for the main course. This was not the place to go when you are a bit hungry. The curry was good like any other Indian places. But the food on a frying plate was very dry and hard to eat.

A really nice restaurant in the old town, with really good indian food and typical indian/pakistanese atmosphere. The menu with chicken masala, a naan and a samosa was just ideal for a very good meal with excellent quality and generous enough.

The food was excellent, I even asked the waiter to pass our compliments onto the chef, which we normally never do. The lamb madras and peshwari naan are among the best we have tasted. They have just moved in and so the restraunte was new in every aspect. If I was being really pedantic, a better choice of background music would have set the scene. Excellent and would recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.
