What an incredible discovery in Saint-Germain-en-Laye! This Swedish restaurant is a true rare pearl — a real culinary gem with flavors that feel both authentic and beautifully original. Every dish is prepared with precision and creativity, and you can truly taste the passion behind it. Huge bravo for the vegetarian options: the vegetables are fantastically prepared, full of texture and flavor, never an afterthought. The cocktails are excellent, perfectly balanced and refreshing. The décor is warm, stylish, and gives off that cozy Nordic vibe that makes you want to stay longer. A wonderful atmosphere, great energy, and an experience worth repeating. Definitely a must-go restaurant!

Salmon gravlax is the best in town, prawns cocktail was so delicious, sword fish is slightly raw for my taste, the white beans however that was served was magnificent, as ever the wine list is to the point, excellent service.

One the best meat balls I have ever had, followed by a genuine and proper salmon gravlax, main course was pork rips were a bit hard and tough to chew, mixed vegetables were slightly cold and tasteless, wine list is perfect and to the point, service was excellent, keep in mind that during our visit, it was a two persons team so expect a slow service but all worth it.

Delicious food mostly fish, spicy and nicely presented. Smiling and full of attention waitress. Quick service. It was a great experience, I really recommend.

Interesting menu with very authentic Swedish connations. Only disappointment was that the delicious apple crumble to finish our meal had no salmon component. Small establishment with good ambiiene.

Simply lovely to find ourselves on the terrasse of Lilla Krogen again. The waiters are always very friendly and this was no exception and the chef made sure our first food terrasse after confinement was worthwhile.

A great place to have a savoury meal with specialties from the Nordics. We particularly enjoyed the fish (Salmon) and the polenta. Desserts are great too and the coffee has a unique taste Great service too.

Excellent food, nice place and kind waiters. Shame that service was so long. This was due to an inspection on the spot, so not a fault of the restaurant. However the global note cannot be at the right level.

I would definitely advise this restaurant for my friends and surely come back again myself. We completely rely on advice of the cook with the choice of the dishes and didn’t regret. Marvelous cuisine! Good vine. Very good experience!

Delicious starter ( smoked salmon rillettes) and main course (plaice and polenta). Excellent selection of breads. Dessert a bit stodgy and the coffee mousse grainy, however my guest’s dessert was delicious (pain d’épices et poire). Very attentive staff. Scandinavian food makes a lovely change.

The restaurant is nice, the service friendly and efficient but I found the food disappointing. The boullettes or meat balls offered as a starter presented as a “meat ball” not plural and a portion ordered as a main came as 2 meat balls, insufficient for a child. To be fair it came with a large portion of beetroot/potatoe/apple salad which was pleasant but the point of Swedish meatballs or a frikadelle is the meat balls. The Gravlax was ok, but really a modest portion of smoked salmon with sauce. My wife enjoyed her blanquette but I found my Joue de porc gritty with small portions of bone, odd given the cut of meat. Deserts promised much but were again not fulfilling the description. So overall it’s ok, but I pay less and the food is better at Ekte in London - this is only St Germain en laye

Not as good as usual for recent visit. Lack of attention to detail. Wine by glass from a bottle clearly open for some time. Kitchen forgot a key ingredient from the starter. Waiter was happy to rectify the problems but not a great experience for such a well reviewed restaurant.

The food is really good, they are really accommodating if you change your arrival time. The terrasse is nice but noisy because of the traffic.. Even is the waitress is very nice, the service is a bit long...

Warm welcome and satisfying meal - a nice change from typical French fare. The ragout de boeuf with its hint of cloves is "melt in your mouth" delicious.

Very good welcoming. Original dishes prepared with great taste. Friendly atmosphere witch makes you feel somebody special ;) Location is good accessible from the main streets but still close to a quiet square If you arrive early you can enjoy a quiet place. But it is small and so gets noisy when crowded :( Ask Lilla to pronounce the name of the dishes in Swedish ;)
