The food was very good. The restaurant was in the hotel bar area because it was raining and the terrace was not appropriate. The manager who greeted us was absolutely fine but the waiter who came later was abrupt and was rude when I pointed out that the discount had not been applied to the bill- I don’t think customer facing work was in his skill set

Only one wait/bartender when we arrived, just after a peek time, and she was frenetically cleaning up tables. Still very friendly and taking the time to explain the menu and answer questions in clear English, although relieved one of us spoke Spanish. The seafood paella was not very fresh but we guessed it was understandable. Everything else we tried was very good! Thank you Lili x

Nestled within the confines of a 4-star establishment in Barcelona, our expectations were piqued upon entering what was anticipated to be a gastronomic delight. The staff, a beacon of hospitality, ensured our comfort throughout the evening, a commendable feat that did not go unnoticed. However, the culinary journey was akin to a stroll down a familiar lane rather than an exploration of uncharted territories. The offerings, while devoid of any discernible flaws, were reminiscent of the daily fare found at a local lunchtime haunt. This was a surprising discovery, considering the restaurant's association with a hotel of considerable repute. The pricing structure seemed to be a reflection not of the food's quality, which was pedestrian at best, but rather of the hotel's star rating. One might argue that the cost was a tad ambitious for the culinary experience provided. In terms of ambiance, the interior bore the hallmarks of a cafeteria or perhaps a breakfast room, lacking the quintessential charm one might seek for an evening dining experience. This perhaps explained the predilection of other patrons for lighter indulgences such as drinks and coffee over a full meal. While we were seated indoors, it was suggested that the patio might offer a different atmosphere, potentially more conducive to the evening's spirit. This remains a hypothesis yet to be tested. In summary, while the service was impeccable, the cuisine failed to ascend beyond the ordinary, and the environment, though pleasant, did not resonate with the essence of a nocturnal dining venue. For those seeking a culinary adventure, this may not be the destination of choice. For a reliable, if unremarkable, dining experience, it fits the bill.

Esperamos que en otro momento puedan venir a visitarnos y podamos cumplir sus espectativas ya que nuestro hotel y restaurante se encuentra ubicado en uno de los edificios históricos en el centro Gotico de Barcelona y a parte del menú diario que ofrecemos, también pueden disfrutar de nuestra carta de tapas y paellas y nuestra gran variedad de cocteles de autor.
