9.5/10We visited recently and ordered the special for the evening which was sea scallops in their shell and homemade gravlax as an appetizer and both were delicious. The chef even came over to our table and asked if we were happy with his dishes. Highly recommend.

10/10The whole dining experience was very enjoyable - the service , ambience and of course the food and wine recommendations . I had the monkfish which was sublime , bulots was wonderful.

10/10Lovely little restaurant serving predominantly fish. Excellent choice of dishes, some with a twist. Staff super welcoming, even more so if you make the effort to speak to them in French. Would definitely visit again.

8.5/10Lobineau is a very nice small seafood restaurant across the street from the Saint-Germain market. We were among the first few diners that evening, at 7 pm, opening time, but the restaurant was fully occupied when we left. The menu is written on a portable blackboard and, I suspect, changes often as various products are available. It was essentially all seafood items. We had six excellent oysters to start and two main plates. The Tataki de Thon was expertly prepared and had a delicious sauce, some rice and a small salad. The calamari dish was also delicious, very tender and with an onion compote mixed in that added a very nice flavor. Service was efficient and friendly.

10/10One of the many treats for our 30th wedding anniversary. Glad we have found Lobineau in the search for something genuine/traditional rather than high street. The restaurant is cosy, the food sublime and the service excellent!

9.5/10We had a very good meal here. Some dishes were solidly good. Others were surprising and absolutely delightful (the beet and orange soup with crab). Service was friendly and incredibly efficient.

10/10Staff were very welcoming to 2 minimal French speaking tourists. Food (Tuna and steak) and wine were great and reasonably priced. Would definitely reccomend!

8/10It’s a small but fantastic restaurant and delicius dishes and the serving size was generous, ask for the size serving to avoid order a lot of food. The staff were welcoming. I asked by a Assiette de tapas and for principal we asked for a Tataki and a Linguinis do Lobineau. In conclusion, excelent cost-benefit to share a meal in a nice atmosphere.

10/10Very very nice food, some of the best fish we have eaten in Paris. The fish was overall super good and the sole outstandingly good in taste! Starters and dessert, same high standard. Just a wonderful evening in this gem of a restaurant. We will be back!

9.5/10Wow, what a surprisingly great experience. We were tired from traveling on overnight flight, then spending the day exploring Paris. I had read the reviews and felt comfortably the meal would be good. But what we ate and the service from our server far exceeded our expectations. Each of us had a different fish dish (sole, sea bass, and monk) and each dish was simply prepared yet layered with flavor. From the handwritten board (in French) to the waiter advising he was the "menus en Anglais" and being extremely patient with our limited and pitiful French, it was superb. Dessert was also incredible, we shared a creme brulee. The waiter did tease one of us for not finishing her plate, I'd read of people being offended by this at other restaurants. We expected it and could tell it was more in good natured fun than true disappointment or offense. Lobineau had relatively large helpings, and we walked away satieted and happy!

10/10Absolutely delightful in every way!! The food was spectacular, creative, traditional and the selection enormous ! The tiny staff did a perfect job of waiting on everyone on a timely manner, despite there only being two of them and the restaurant was full!!!

9.5/10The food here is superb. Authentic French cuisine with some creative twists. Incredibly fresh seafood beautifully prepared. For the quality the prices are excellent. The decor & atmosphere are not as elegant or charming some of the other cafés nearby but the food and service more than make up for the lack of window dressing.

9.5/10We were warmly greeted and sat at a table next to the open door. Great for people watching! The entrees were tasty but a bit on the bland side but the plats were exquisite! We had the raie and the Saint Pierre. Wine was from St. Joseph and very tasty. We recommend this restaurant!
