Really nice food and a lovely local wine to go with it. Please be aware this restaurant has moved and the location on the fork is wrong. Use google

I would say that the negative evaluation is of "The Fork," rather than the restuarant, but the man who appeared to be the owner of did not behave properly, either. We had had a reservation at Locanda da Mario for months, and we drove 1 1/2 hours to get there. When we arrived, we were told we had no reservation. I showed the confirmation, and the owner (as I believe) said the restaurant was no longer affiliated with The Fork. He showed no sympathy whatsoever -- no apology because he said it had nothing to do with him, even though it is he who made arrangements with The Fork, not I. In my opinion, he should have dragged in another table from somewhere (I should add that the restaurant wasn't full at the time), but at the very least he could have shown some natural human sympathy. But apparently The Fork is at fault as well, because he said he had cancelled the arrangement.
