During a day in gubbio we choose this place to have lunch, what a surprise! It is an amazing restaurant, where the food is just amazing, together with the location and the service it makes it a great experience. I would just go back to gubbio only to have another meal here 🤍

We've been four and Riccardo has greeted us when we arrived. All the employees share a smile with their guests. And beyond all, the food is really good and 100% typical.

Food and service are excellent.. one point to be considered that the music is a bit too loud. We had ordered only all food with truffle and everything was super delicious 😊

I would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could. I’ve lived in Italy for 20 years and have had a lot of amazing food but this place managed to knock my socks off. Incredible interpretations of classics: a steak with seasonings and truffles and cheesecake with viscole both which were the best I’ve ever had, as well as new creations like perfect cheese filled gnocchi in a cream and truffle sauce. The chef, Roberta, is a down to earth, warm person who transmits here love of the region and of cooking with kindness. One of the best food experiences I’ve had AND at totally reasonable prices

The team were pleasant, hard working and knowledgeable. which is always positive particularly when one of the party has a specific allergy. The food was good and fresh, the only downside for us was portion size. No not to small but the meat quantities were far bigger than what we are used to and have come to expect in restaurants. is this a problem? not really, just be aware when ordering other dishes. Thank you Licanda team for a lovely experience

Locanda del Duca is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu showcases the best of Umbrian cuisine, with every dish crafted to perfection using fresh, local ingredients. The pasta was divine, the meats tender and flavorful, and the desserts simply heavenly. The wine list is impressive, featuring excellent local selections. Service was impeccable—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The cozy ambiance, combined with the outstanding food, made this one of the best meals we’ve had in Italy. Highly recommend for an authentic and memorable dining experience!

Great family place. Lots of large tables of locals. Loud and boisterous, but remarkably fast kitchen. Food was very good. Staff were great. Highly recommended.

One of the most unpleasant waitresses we’ve ever come across. Shouldn’t be in hospitality. Bland pasta. Tepid pork. Dry lump of pink cake

We chose this restaurant because all of our first choices were closed on Tuesdays. The food was average but the service was poor. I had to seek out the manager to complain that my secondo had not arrived. My carafe of white wine was actually warm. I actually found some of the staff a bit patronizing.

We were a bit apprehensive of this place due to (relatively) low rating of 8.9. Well, we went and loved it. Food was well presented and very tasty. They have also addressed all my dietary restrictions ( gluten and dairy free). Service was great as well. Fork discount was a nice cherry on the cake.

Very nice restaurant in Gubbio. We had a good table outside in the street and enjoyed the truffle menu. Very tasteful. Perhaps somewhat more time between the first and the second course would be better. The after dinner grappa was delicious!

Perfect! Great food and athmosphere. Tradition but amazing presentations and very interesting tastes. I would strongly reccomend it!
