Dinner at Locanda Don Serafino was an exceptional experience. The chef absolutely delivers in blending emotional connection with outstanding cuisine. Each course is beautifully curated on the plate. The service staff are knowledgeable, helpful and take obvious pride in what they do, thank you for looking after us. Carmelo, the sommelier, made our visit truly outstanding - the cellar and wine selection is out of this world, he brought to life the Sicilian collective approach to wine making for us and the nuances of each of the different regions. Thank you so very much for such a wonderful evening and highlight to our visit to beautiful Ragusa Ilba

Superb. The tasting menu that we chose was light and delicious. Actually the best tasting menu I have ever eaten. The restaurant itself is spectacular in a limestone cave at the base of a cliff with amazing pink limestone walls….The staff were very professional. We will return!

Food and wine pairing were excellent. Carmelo, the sommelier was wonderful and shared his knowledge on Sicilian wines with us. He’s also very proud of the cellar ;)

We dined here on our last night in Sicily and I was hoping for a fabulous meal. The food presentation was beautiful and artful which we greatly appreciated. The service was excellent. However, the flavors did not match the presentation. I was so excited to dine at a Michelin rated restaurant but it fell far short of my expectations. I have a deep, diverse and experienced palette so I truly don’t feel this was “above” my level of understanding for high cuisine. The food simply lacked the complexity of flavors I would expect given the location, richness of culinary resources and ratings.
